Kept TPMS because it was 30 bucks a sensor and I can program them. Only reason to keep? It tells me spare pressure and I can watch it with the scan gauge.

In this part of the country you see people giving away "hospital bed"s randomly. Hefty metal things w/ head & foot up/down. But i don't think i've seen larger than full sized. So maybe search for hospital bed.

I had a company come out yesterday and give me a quote to put down a coating. $6,300.

I wish I was sold on the epoxy coatings. Keep reading so many mixed reviews on how durable they are.

 

We have a small coated area like the one pictured above at work. I think bare concrete is easier to clean oil up. Our coated floor like that is also close to 20 years old so that factors in.

Yesterday, I read Fan Bracket when you asked Fan Clutch. Replace both. The Fan Bracket has a Pulley that wears out (grindy and chirpy) the Fan Clutch attaches to it and has a Special Oil and Spring inside that expands and contracts with temperature. The Fan speeds up or slows according to the Oil and Spring expansion in Clutch.

My Fan sounds and operates like new. I can hear it speed up and cycle down sometimes when it does. My old one was at a point where it was just one lazy slow speed with no cycling. I opened the old one up and saw the oil everyone talks about replacing, but seems not worth it. The Oil is expensive and nobody knows the proper amount to put in.

 

Got new tires on the bike yesterday. Man, I have 0 reason to bitch about tires on my truck. 530 doll hairs and they aren't even "performance" tires. Bike had 5,000 miles when I bought it so I'm guessing they've never been changed.

5,000 mile tires. $530 bucks a pop. Let's say your typical off road tire lasts 30,000 miles. That's around $1000 to 1200 for some nice rubber. 30,000 miles on a bike will be $3180 bucks. Damn.







Also, behold my glorious redneck parking spot for my bike. I literally park it in the back yard and put a lock on the gate. Sucks not having a garage. And yeah, I need to mow. Shut up.

 

Yeah, it was weird. We had rolling blackouts to help the grid here. So yqll don't see much snow down there? 3 times a year is about average here.

Just ordered up about $180 in all types of universal bits/adaptors/extensions/and extractor sockets. Bought a few different brands. Yeah I went cheap china because:

1) All the auto store around here are cleaned out (china anyway) which wastes my time in public.

2) Only one ‘Made in USA Company’ is on bigurrrl and they want 5 times the cheapos.


3) Its nice comparing items online versus standing in some empty aisle with no tools/limited selection looking at goofy mask wearers (been wearing the same mask for 6 months).

 

But the ride is a world different with the new tires - isn't it?
I still recall when I put new Metzlers on my Ninja, it was like the bike grew claws - the grip was worlds better.

 

and don't forget all the adjusting the mask by touching the dirty zone. you don't touch it where the Covid germs are. Sheeple, so many sheeple.

Last night I was in an office w/ 3 other people. 4 have had the covid, some have been vaccinated too. 1 mask up, 3 masks down. The mask police Chiquita walked in & all masks went up.

But I wondered, how long until the tide turns. Attitude was (is?) how dare you not wear a mask. How long until attitude becomes 'how dare you not have gotten vaccinated? Who are you to force me to mask up to support your 'choice''.

It was a flickering thought, but if I had it - it must be a thought simmering in the Stratos.
I feel aggressive expressions of mask preference opinions/clashes brewing.
(yes I may be ahead of the curve - I'm in a vaccinations Green state, in a Green city.)

 

Same thing with normal paint. Prep makes all the difference.

 

I wonder what the effect on children will be. No smiles for 2 years? I travel to the mask free zones. I give them my money.

That's crazy. They seem to grow great down by Caineville Utah (famous for alien looking landscaping and large hucks with dirt bikes and truck/car commercials). There's an orchard only 10-20 miles down the road from Caineville and they at least have great apple trees. Not sure on the days above 100, but I'd guess at least a few. It's pretty hot in the summer. The orchard might be in a canyon though if I recall and that shade in the evening could be a huge factor.

Drained the Main Vein on the Old Jack and put some new Hydraulic Fluid with Stop Leak in there.

Cut open the Old Fuel Pump for Post Mortem. Looks like the Commutator is worn down pretty well per ‘Experts’. The brush looks long still, but I Mangled the cut due to not knowing what I was doing for the first time.

 

Is it bizarre I watched an entire movie of people speaking Spanish when I didn’t understand a word of it?

BTW, the title of the movie was called “Super Vixens”. I couldn’t stop laughing through most of it.

 

This is a nice Arrow to have in your Feather Duster Quiver. Its Canned Air. Mostly its used in Short Blasts on screw holes to eject any debris trapped. Good for other stuff like Blasting Dust off door switches and electronics. $7 can goes a long way. Very handy!

 

Hey, it's been a year... Give me a break. It's hard finding a mask that fits under my nose as nicely as it fits under my chin.

We went to the baby animal deal at the local farm. They do all sorts of seasonal fun stuff. They had to put the signs up and everything but half the people didn't wear them and nobody bothered me. The farm even put out an email saying we hate it, but the mayor of Salt Lake knows better than us so we have to comply. Political theater is almost as good as the real theater.
