No doubt $10k would be a good deal for him.

The problem is he then has to replace it with something.

I would just mention to not sell it to anybody without talking to you first.

    Good luck...

I’ve definitely noticed in my area that dealerships are asking top dollar for tundras. Hard to find one for a good deal with low miles. Tundras with 180,000 miles are being priced at 14k roughly. Yikes!

Cregggssliss be all dried up. Only ones for sale are the rust buckets which they openly admit due to failed inspection and trying to sell for $4k.

Even ‘My Kid went to Grey Poupon Academy’ Sequoia High Dolla area is lacking in them coming up for sale.

Thats about what I see on my Island Lisss. V6 with +200k will pop up occasionally for $7-8k (no 4wd).

Per all other 1stGens: Usually there is something majorly wrong (you can tell) with them or they aren’t 4wd which is a deal killer for me. Lots of mislabeled 4wd when they are 2wd.

Oh ya. I'd definitely run the VIN ASAP on Toyota's website to learn more about it if I was in the market. That is a nice little tool to find out shtuff.

My truck comes with one of those big huge checks you get when you win stuff. Does that add any value?

Maybe the Thread should be changed to Entering Nose Bleed Territory?

I’d love to see our trucks prices at least go apples to apples with underwhelming goofy taco (over inflated $ even before the virus inflation hit). Our trucks are far superior in most every regard over taco. Prices need to reflect.

A 2006 Limited Double Cab in (assumed) excellent condition with a camper shell, carpeted bed and 61.7k miles? In this market $22k is not an unreasonable price.

These prices are very amusing in my case. Not a typical situation. Won't go too into it, but my truck was acquired for less than $22k when it was brand new.

These numbers are crazy. I have an '06 Limited 4WD 4 door with 69,500k miles; should I sell for >$20k and in a year buy another one for >$15k?
Surely these prices won't stick around,,,,,,right?!?

That plan wouldn’t work too well for a 911

granted a truck is not a Porsche.

I guess you could but I think you would have a hard time finding a truck as nice as the one you have. Seems like a easy choice to keep yours.
