Looks like a rock kicked up and hit my side sliding glass window and shattered it.
I called Snugtop but they want 1500$ for the whole window assembly and I only paid less than 500 for the canopy .

Was wanting to know if anyone had a similar problem and if any ideas that may help fix it. Luckly the tint is holding it together for now.

    Thanks for the input .

Not sure what model you have, I have the xtra vision which supposedly the glass is curved so it’s harder to get replicated. But best bet is go to a local auto glass company.
I don’t know how or why they quoted you 1500$ I literally just had a entire passenger assembly ordered for mine; 480$ otd and I installed myself. Call a local camper dealer not Snugtop for parts

I may be missing something because I'm looking at a picture but all I can see is that those look like stickers.

If it is completely flat, a good glass shop can replace it with laminated glass (it has tempered in it). The laminated will be clear or slightly tinted so you'll then have to get a window tint place to match the other windows, but it will be a lot cheaper. The key is that it has to be flat.

Its shattered glass its caved inward towards the inside of the bed, you can see a gap in it. its not suppose to look like that.
I believe I also have the Xtra Vision model.
The side with the decals is shattered and falling inward, the tint is holding it together .. for now.

it is curved glass it looks like. Does not seem flat.

Gotcha:thumbsup:. Can you see spiderwebbing from inside the truck looking out under the tint?

I've also replaced a window with plexiglass of similar thickness (found at Home Depot) on the cheap (for an old motorhome). You can even apply tint to it, drill it to attach the hardware etc. It is a little finicky to work with (likes to crack if your too aggressive), but is DIY and less $$ if cost is the issue. Could use the window on the opposite side as a template even.

I am pretty certain that the Cap Companies do not make any Windows but instead just buy them off the shelf from OEM companies which means that if you can find out who makes the ones for your Cap you can probably just order it from someone Local for a lot less money.

I know that I have in the past and have also found them at Junk Yards a few times too.

I still have a Cap on my 2001 Tundra that came with sliders but I wanted WinDoors instead so I contacted the manufacturer who was not all that far away from me and I drove to the Factory and the Manager and I yanked my Sliders and slipped the WinDoors right in and in an hour or so I was headed back home!

So there are for sure some universal sizes and styles out there for sale.
