    Hello,

Recently retired Navy/Marine that had the awesome opportunity to transplant to Texas from Cali. Finally live somewhere where my freedoms are not infringed! I love Tundras and this 2018 is named Sheila. My apologies she is a bit dirty but she likes it that way. I have started to mod her and have Prospeed slapping a Magnusson an AR Headers on her in June. I look forward to seeing all the awesome ideas and DIY.

I love that color and you don't see it very often. Texas is great except for the heat and humidity, no topography, and very little public land.

    Welcome!

I like the heat and humidity, spent so much time deployed and in So Cal that this change is very welcome, plus my wife is from Vietnam, so she is bred for it!

Congrats on retirement. Hopefully you make out well with a nice VA rating as well. Being in Texas, look into getting cat protection plates as they are getting stolen everywhere.

Thank you for your service sir, and welcome from Friendswood, TX! I'm new to the forum as well, but a native Texan. Glad to have you here and out of Cali! Sheila looks awesome and I'm looking forward to hearing about and seeing the mods you make. You do get used to the humidity after a while, and have the built-in benefit of combining yard work with a sauna! Truly helps with weight control!!

Lmao been in texas for 10 years and yes there are a few bumps, hills, and a couple mountains, but no sir I'm not wrong. Check out appalachia, the rockies, sierras, etc. For examples of accessible topography
