My 2005 access cab is currently sitting on a 2 inch lift. Although I would like to go to around a 6", I am concerned that it may be overkill. Any thoughts?

I have a 6” procomp and wouldn’t trade it for any other lift. Drives straight no noise and looks sick

Depends why you would like to lift it. 6" is not too much, I personally am not a fan of bracket lifts. My neighbor has a 6" lift on his first gen and daily it with 33" tires, it looks a bit awkward to me. I think needs 35s and gears.

There is no way I'd lift that much without going to 35's. These trucks look so damn good on 35's.
