Hey guys so i bought a 2021 platinum on friday and by Saturday it was leaking pink fluid on the passenger side. I took it to Toyota and they said the heater core was leaking. My question is does anyone have an idea as to what might have caused this on a brand new truck and if it could have affected anything else that i should have them check.

If it was leaking inside i would ask them to change carpets. After all it's a brand new truck

Heater cores are buried deep in the dash. If it’s leaking, it could have all been under the carpet. You might not notice anything until miles after you pick it up from this warranty work and they claim it was something else.

Well an idiot tech closed the door when another tech who was workingbon removing the dash stepped away and ended up denting my door against an exposed bolt. Fuck me, they said they were going to replace that part but it now pushed back the date of when i get my truck another week at least
