Ive seen some people that have figured it out, not saying it cant be done. I was just too lazy. :anonymous:

The WTs were also considerably thicker than the Huskys, which is both why they sometimes dont match contours correctly, but is also a reason why they last for years and years.

My Huskys havent worn out yet, but they are similar to OEM which I have worn holes in after about 2 years.

Oh for sure just saying if it happens here’s a simple fix. I honestly would of went with the cheapest option since they are just floor mats but the dealer threw them in for free since they took a week long delivering the truck. Can’t go wrong really any brand you choose from what I see.

Are you referring to the Weathertechs? I have found the same on my old-wash with Simplegreen or other degreaser, dry and coat liberally with 303 or other protectant-let sit overnight, then wipe down.

I saw quite a few reviews saying the Husky wore quickly on the driver side where their heel rested near the gas pedal.

That works on my OEM as well, but the kids drag sand and salt in almost every day. So for me, I need a rag vacuum solution. But I like those husky’s as well...

Others have gotten free clips to hold it in place from weathertech after emailing them.

I third this. Not sure if all weathertechs are the same, but the ones my buddy has are smooth on the back, so they slide around. The Husky Xact contours have the little studs/nipples all over the back to keep them in place. They also came with a plastic screw to put down through the carpet to anchor down. Im not crazy about doing that, so I didnt. But I haven't had a need either, they stay put. The huskies also have a little more coverage over the seat brackets. The rear go up under the rear seat which is nice when the seats are folded up for boots and stuff.

    Ditto this.
I just put a few long strips of 2" wide velcro tape under the mat and it stays put just fine.

I just installed the same ones in my 2017 and so far, so good. I was a little disappointed in them being flimsy, but the fit is very good.

The fit Husky mats are better. They stay put and look cleaner longer.

Thanks for everyones input. I went with the Weathertechs. I have had them on other vehicles and been happy. Looks like they improved the passenger side when compared to the early models.

So I’m torn on which floor liners to buy. Im looking for better coverage. I had weathertech in my Tacoma. They worked very well. Are they any pictures of different brands in the rear seat of a double cab? Im looking for something that would cover the area under the seats when they’re folded up.

WeatherTechs cover the back seat floor in a DC very well. I know mine are dirty. I've been working on a construction project. That's why I need liners... and a truck.

I like my WeatherTechs very well now that I put the Velcro on the passenger mat.

How are you liking these? $158 for front and year is a hard deal to pass up.

I have the WeatherTechs for the front. Probably an older design, I hate them, I can never get them clean and the passenger side always slides forward 3".
