I had talked to someone about that. This was the response I got.

As to the Meso style tail lights, I did look into the possibility of those. It is possible, but there are a couple of things on it. The top of the tail lights on the Tundra is a single filament bulb. The idea I came up with would be to drill that top light out and install the socket that Meso uses for the stage 2 so both the top and bottom can accept a 3157 bulb. But then there is the second thing that needs to happen. VLED is developing a switchback 921 for Meso for the stage 2 V2. These would fit the Tundra reverse (and then turn). So short answer, yes, I can make the harnesses. Long answer, I need a brave tester :)

Thanks for the reply. I did speak to Vleds recently. The 921 switchback design is in the works.

I hear you. My truck has a little over 2500 miles but I pulled the trigger anyway.

The install isn't that bad but I didn't cut my WT mats since I wanted the ability to remove them without removing the tray. For now the mats lay over the top to cover the bins when the seats are up. I'll have to mod the mats to help them lay down more cleanly.

If you do go for the install be aware the 2020s and up have wiring and a module underneath the foam where you would cut the center bin. I think it is for the remote start feature. You can damage the wiring if you are not careful. An electric foam knife would make the job easier and cleaner but increases the risk of damaging this part. Also recommend keeping the pieces you cut out from the carpet and insulation, you can reuse these to line the bottom of the holes you cut.

Finally got around to the AJT Install along with the switch plate.
Plan on moving the back window switch to the 66A43BC9-8210-41D7-B533-F956EA2CF070.jpg blank switch.

Nah I got a mx4 backflip. But that rack is legit! I'd love a set up like that. Not ideal with a tri fold top though. Prob should have considered that before purchase. Drain tube mod is super easy and takes like 5 mins. I'm all about a cleaner look

Good to hear it's possible. I'd totally be into doing a set of smoked stock housings with the switchback reverse/turn and led brake lights. I've looked at aftermarket tails but still haven't seen a set I've loved.

Same. I'm not much of a fan of any other aftermarket headlights or tail lights. Styling (and some quality) just doesn't do it for me personally

Yeah, not too long after I posted that, I was at Lowes picking up a freezer. Got it loaded in my truck, went to get my straps then realized they where in my garage at home. It was cold that day so I was already pissed off I was freezing my ass off then having to go into Lowes and buy yet more straps, said screw it and shortly thereafter I purchased the under seat storage. My truck now has a little over 2k miles on but the first weekend it's nice out and I'm not working OT, it's going in. :sawzall:
