    Yup!!!
Personally, when I’m using a word incorrectly, or using an incorrect word, I appreciate it when people inform me so that I can begin to correct myself and not look like a Noob, or uneducated about said topic. Maybe that’s just me though...
I did try and do it politely though.

As for the pic you posted, yeah... I’d hit that.

so is it advisable to tighten the top mounting bolt on the shock from time to time to prevent unwanted rotation?

I don't think you need to retighten the mounting bolt but I would check the position of the reservoir and bypass tubes periodically. Then if needed, loosen, adjust, and retighten the bolt. My truck is my DD so for on-road driving I check the shocks every so often (no schedule - just if I am under the truck anyway). For off-road driving I check before, during, and after. For me, the benefits that the ADS triple bypasses are worth the extra work to make sure everything is aligned right.

I check mine every month or so, as well as a few times every off-road trip.

I think that's the old, original version of the bypasses. I think, not sure, the layout has been changed. I had the original version and never had a problem, great shocks.

6 inch lift, ADS suspension, Alcan custom rear springs, 46 gallon metal gas tank, Full Line-x body, Wheels with 35's, Smittybilt bumpers front and rear, 10k warn winch, custom rack.
When I put mine on, I had the Pro Comp 6 inch lift with the Coachbuilder Tie Rods and SPC upper control arms. It had so much travel I almost snapped my front brake line. I had to get longer brake lines. If you keep your anti roll bar hooked up I think it will be fine. Just don't drop the control arm without it not hooked up. Good luck and have fun. Mine ride so nice with the new rear springs.

My brother has ADS 2.5 front & rear with clickers. He waited about 14 weeks to get his. One of his rear shocks were leaking out of the box. ADS took care of him and sent a new one out in a few days but still PITA to deal with of course. They're good shocks, but I did not care for the "clunk" they get when you top them out/run out of downtravel. They don't have the internal rubber damper/bumpstop like Fox does to dampen when it tops out the shock, granted it's just noise and does no harm.

My Fox 2.5 non-DSC custom tuned by Accutune Offroad arrived after 5 months. They ride subjectively smoother, and are nice and quiet. Smoother than my 2010 Raptor I had.

Got my 2.5s installed this weekend with TC UCAs through DSM. Rear leafs are custom through Alcan out of CO to haul my FWC popup (which explains the excess rake). Install went smooth for the most part, like everyone else the sway bar is a cast iron bitch to deal with but it will go back in. Alignment went great and it drives like a dream although I did develop a "clunk" on the passenger side after driving several miles. I torqued everything on install and verified torque when I pulled the passenger wheel back off. Turned out the resi bracket and resi were hitting a small part of the inner fender. Fortunately there was a thread that addressed this issue so here's the link to that thread if anyone needs it.

Non ADS related but I got the FWC dropped in the bed today. I sent Alcan springs the axle/gross weights and told them I was doing the 2.5 lift and they dialed it in perfectly. Highly recommend them for spring work.

A lot of the boys up here in MT run the FWC. They are pretty bitchin. Rig looks great man.

I'm still waiting on UCAs, Trips and spring packs from MCM. Should be getting the rest soon. The stack of garage parts is getting pretty big!

    Thank you sir, appreciated.

We had an FWC on our Tacoma and always said we would get another one on a full size truck. I went through Down South Motorsports and they had the TC UCAs in stock, wait time on the ADSs was just about ten weeks. The spring pack from Alcan was eight weeks. I hear you on the Toyota Mods Warehouse!

Do you still the weight numbers you sent Alcan? I have a DCSB with a FWC hawk and am wondering how it compared weightwise to a DCLB with a Granby.

    Sure do;

    Unloaded - Front 3380, Rear 2320, Total 5700
    Loaded - Front 3640, Rear 4160, Total 7800

That was with a full fuel tank and all our gear in the camper. It's a heavy bastid!

Anyone happen to know what shock oil ADS uses in their shocks?

Rear is a bit high with the THICC custom Deaver pack. All armor, skids, racks, etc going on in a few more weeks should help settle it out.
