Went to the used car monger to pick up our gx yesterday evening. They had a red double cab first gen that sounded like had just gotten a deposit on it. I asked how much and they said something like $12,500 with 175k on it. I didn't really look at the truck, but it wouldn't have to be in awesome shape to be worth that much. It sounded like a decent number to me anyway.

New land cruiser? Man they've gotten big! I guess they've always been spacious. Doesn't look bad though.

I don't necessarily like the tractor supply traveler light bar brand, but I do have to say...

I'm really enjoying these new fangled "blackout" bars that are becoming popular.

Same here. I want it to be good, and look good if possible. Something like this could just make me very happy about cleanliness behind the "electrical cabinet."

Too many times have I opened one at work, and just felt defeat already.

Corporations, like every organization, ultimately grow to the point that growth, as opposed to their original intent, becomes their only goal. The founders understood this and put appropriate restraints on corporations (as they did on govt.). Just like the govt. seems to have overgrown it's restraints, so to have corporations....and the two now seem to now be melding into the F word....

I had to do graveyard for like 2 weeks once. It was the worst. It was sorta unsuspectingly self induced, so the next time it came up I kept my mouth shut

Did night shifts for about 7 years. It's a hard life. Pulled many a 30 hour stay awake session on those first days off. Trying to get back to normal. Didn't really work. Zombie mode. Slept through a lot of movies.

this sort of work I could not live with in my house
    [IMG]
I could live with the below, but it would still annoy me & I'd have to fix that red hose.
    Same goes for electrical work.
I pay for this sort of work & I want to know the person I'm paying is proud of their work & pays attention to details.

Is the top one a distribution setup for one of those fancy multi-schnozzle showers? The bottom is definitely a whole house PEX distribution manifold. Could both be proper setups for the application.

random internet pics. Both may be functionally correct - my point was I want foundational work to be better than simply functional. There might be a little German in me that needs things to not only function, but to look correct too...

You’d like Schluter Products being German. Here is a small bath I just did with their Floor Membrane and High Polished Italian Porcelain Tile. The adjacent floor is High Dolla Luxury Vinyl which was also done by me, as well. Shtuff is nice.

Thanks. MzPHM painted the flowers, tile, and water fall into the shell on the walls. The shelf was installed by me.

I did overnights for 9 years up until a couple weeks ago when my wife passed away. Becoming a day walker has been brutal, but my kids need me to be awake....ish

Agree. That's a very shittable setup. Pleasant even. Nice work @Professional Hand Model . I've had some similar projects around the house, so I know the pain. We LVP'd 1500 sqft and did 3 bathroom remodels. A very Covid thing to do. Even included the potted plant (faux but tangible in this case).

I just spotted this while walking my dogs. I've never seen one of these in person. It only has one wheel in front. I guess it's a Reliant Robin or Rialto.

Yeah. Schluter does make another membrane for Showers. This one I pictured is for smoothing out rough uneven surfaces and acts as a crack isolation membrane. We did this for a client. Its one of the ways I make a living.
