Just a side note for those who haven't heard that Julian Edelman has retired. A great guy, and an incredible wide receiver. Godspeed.172556948_1344817745902496_2289360401800759170_n.jpg

Be funny if he didn't. He's been projected #1 pick for a long time.

I’m really curious to see if the Broncos try to upgrade Lock. They need to but I also don’t want them to reach just to do it. Micah Parsons would be a solid grab if they go D

I feel the same way about the pats. I mean if Cam does shitty again, even if they put Stidham in, they will be picking top 15 again. Try again next year. Just too many teams needing a qb. I don't want them sacrificing future draft picks on a gamble. Replace some aging players with younger talent and build the team first, then be aggressive looking for a qb in draft or free agency.

How many first round QBs ended up being busts? I know of one 6th rounder that ended up being a GOAT.

Many. It’s such a vital position in the NFL that these teams will keep swinging until they find one that sticks. With the new rookie cap structure it allows them to do it and not get screwed as bad if they turn into busts.

Here’s a list of first rounders since 2010.
I count maybe 5 that I would consider being high quality starters. The rest are busts.

They came from a time when the big 12 and Pac10 had good teams.

Are you saying the Pac12 and Big12 don't have good teams, and the SEC does?

Then other than Peyton Manning, name a SEC QB on the level of Brady and Rodgers. You'd have to go back pretty far to name one.

Nope not saying that at all. But the SEC is a better football conference overall now compared to 20 years ago. Pac12 and Big12 have competitive teams, just not as many as the SEC it seems. And PAC12 beats itself up, so it never gets a fair assessment. Only like 2 non-conference teams played a year compared to other conferences playing 3-4 non-conference games.

I don't think the SEC has more competitive teams. That's ESPN propaganda. ESPN is the fake news of sports.

Concur, the PAC12 does beat itself. The highest ranked PAC12 team usually loses to another PAC12 late in the season derailing PAC12 representation in the playoffs.

SEC out of conference schedule is a joke IMO. I want to see Alabama, LSU, Auburn play in Ann Arbor, East Lansing, Rose Bowl, Coliseum, South Bend, Corvallis, Eugene, Tempe, Columbus. Most of SEC out of conference games are played at home. Or they claim an out of conference game at Cowboys stadium is a road game. Home field advantage is big in CFB.

BTW, Brady played in the Big10.

    Can't wait for football...CFB.

Is it just me, or does Brady look like he's trying to lean away from Rodgers?

Saw this on the Packers FB page this morning. Best part of it was in the comments:

Of course it ticked of Packers fans that either didn't read the whole post or didn't know the reference.

Oh for sure. I'm a fan myself, but I also try to be sensible, in which case I haven't been searching through every knook and cranny within all the conjecture and media attention over the whole thing. If anything I laugh at the general fan base.

As a Broncos fan I never thought he was actually on his way to Denver. I figured it was all contract posturing and figuring out how to get out of GB without having to become the bad guy. From the looks of it, he's done it. The Packers will most likely be without Rodgers and Adams next season and not with a great draft spot to draft a replacement if/when Joran Love doesn't work out.
