I tried, but couldn't find the answer I am looking for...
Can I install a coilover setup on my Tundra like I used to on my Tacoma using a floorjack and jack stands, lowering the LCA after removing the lower 2 bolts to relieve the spring tension? Then use the floorjack to raise it up again for install of the new Eibach coilovers? "Floorjack Method". I did it numerous times on my Tacoma and I am fairly certain the same method can be employed but I don't want to open a can of worms and end up with a 'oh shit' moment. Obviously for the install of unassembled units.

I tried this exact method last weekend. It's doesn't work. I battled with it for 3 hrs and no luck. I've done it fine on other trucks but the angles didn't line up on the Tundra. Ran to the parts house and bought $30 springs compressors. Assembled both coilovers in 15 minutes

Did you loosen the LCA bolts to drop the arm too? I never did before, just preyed it down a rough to fit everything in.

I only loosen the front LCA bolt and use a ratchet strap between the LCA's to pull the LCA down and out of the way. I found this easier than trying to loosen the rear LCA bolt. It's a bitch to get to.
