Naah, from now on I'll just assume this is the universal Tundra greeting:

    *cutesy wave* *teehee*

I’ll rubber neck when I see pretty much any Tundra lifted less than 4”. More than that just gets an eye roll from me...sorry to you guys with 6”, 7”, 8”+ lifts ;)

I just came from Home Depot, where I spotted a clean 1st Gen as I was backing out and the driver was sitting in his cab. We looked at each other and both smiled, but no attempt at waving was made.

A guy in a lifted Jeep gave me the thumbs up one time when I was in my LT 4Runner. At the time I didn’t even know there was a “Jeep thing”.

So did you wave back...or sit there blushing?

I only do it in the city, after a quick swerve to get the attention, to Land Rover douches. Which, BTW, is the one finger up from the left hand at the 12:00 position.

They ALL OF THIS is co-oping the original which is street motorcycles.

I'm in the no need to acknowledge fellow drivers of the same make/model category.

Checking out a well dresses truck - regardless of make is accepted. Waving like a simpleton at everyone who passes by makes me question your mental wellness- not think your doing it as an acknowledgement of my truck.

The "jeep wave" thing - let em have it....they overpaid for that "privilege". Bikers hand signs came about out of years of culture - Jeep became popular from a marketing meeting.

Seriously, I typically avoid eye contact with anyone when I'm driving and keep my eyes on my business. I wouldn't know if anyone was waving or not.

I live in the mountains so I hate all traffic equally. If I wave it is usually a well deserved and earned one finger salute regardless of what they are driving.

If I see a badass truck, I'll give a thumbs up, regardless of brand, doesn't need to be a Yota. Other than the neighbors on my street, and my kids busdriver, I won't wave, to anyone... Nope. Absolutely no need to wave.

Reminds me of a funny story. A while back I was watching some guy on a moped go by another guy on a motorcycle. The guy on the moped *actually* gave the low hand wave (where you hold your hand out at about the 4 or 5 o clock position to say hey).

The dude on the motorcycle vehemently shook his head as if to say "GTFOH poser."
