Just, sitting here ordering more parts (I sorta blame everyone on this MF'er!) and myself for wanting knowledge, and not letting a bad set up stay that way, in reference to my truck. Sometimes at the expense of looking like an idiot for not totally thinking things through before asking a question....

Anyway, I've spent enough for decent packing and here is the difference between 2 totally diff companies and almost equally expensive parts. Just thought I'd share.

That Icon packaging is very effective against chips. Nice job they did.

The biggest problem with companies nowadays is that they take packaging that is meant to store an item on a shelf and assume it’s ready for instant shipment with zero precautions. It’s just not the case.

    A knuckle...you asking what application it's for or brand? It's a poorly packaged 1.

    Some junk
Looks almost as good as the raptor shock box and custom cut foam.

I'd say it's more economies of scale and expectations. Icon sells mostly one shape of product and that product needs to arrive without scratches. A shop that does every fudging thing, likely won't spring for custom packaging. An AB foam machine might have been an option for the other parts.

I've sold and shipped a few sets of shocks and it is ridiculous how much tape and random stuff for cushion I use. It's a hard part to box up and not ding together or break through the box or whatever.

Oh, not for a fgt? I did a light search, and didnt find much for aftermarket. Just noticed the bj ‘pocket’ looks stronger than the offset nonsense my ‘02 has.

Those are heavy duty spindles from a company that makes a lift, to fix said lift because it wasn't a very good design. That are taller and maybe beefier than stock. I haven't had a chance to compare. I'll try and do that when I get to the process of swapping and doing the front end work.

Rhymes with rough country. Thankfully I don't know a whole bunch of people in this same situation on this forum. I'm also not into bashing any particular brand, yet. Hence the indirect info.
