    Not sure at this point.
The whistle was probably a little bit annoying, but I think all that you've stated, I have gotten used to it. It's nice to know my ABS is still working. Lol

These are my top two. Also interested to know if there are diy fixes for both.

Have you checked the exterior windshield trim? This caused difficult-to-locate rattling in our Explorer right around the passenger A-pillar of that vehicle when going over 55 mph or when the headwind was just right. Quick diagnostic was a piece of duct tape down the passenger side of the windshield on the outside.

I have to say coming from a 2007 to a 2014 with out the handle is really annoying, but the one thing that has been more annoying is the instrument cluster. In my '07 it was back lit even during the day, it would dim if you turned on the headlights. The '14 is not bad if you aren't wearing sunglasses, but during daylight, with sunglasses I can barely read the cluster. Is this just mine, or does anyone else have this issue?

Same here. The backlight only comes on with the running lights or headlights on, it's annoying sometimes.

I know, right? EIGHT TIMES. :annoyed:

Goodness. It’s not like I can’t hear that sweet motor rumbling. Why you gotta beep at me like that???

To answer your question, TechStream. It’s on my short list of to-dos.

@2018Tundra , @TILLY so a quick update about my Transmission issues. Had an appointment with the service manager at the local dealership and we took the truck for a test drive. He noted the issue and reset the shift points. It drove like a race car since last Thursday and today it seemed to have defaulted back to whatever shift pattern it had before with shift hesitation and sluggish on acceleration. It feels like the engine struggles moving the weight of the truck. Because it drove like it should for those days I am wondering if it’s not an issue with the transmission but rather the electric management or even the traction control limiting power to the wheels. On an upside though the service manager said that he doesn’t see an issue with me installing the transmission cooler from Nick when i showed him a list of the parts.

How about when I start my crewmax up and the display shows a doublecab... small detail but it bugs me.

Since when is it we dont get a passenger side entry light, glove box light? Me thinks the bean counters have gone a little crazy.

Thanks for the update, hopefully the dealership can fix the electrical gremlins, and you can be happy with your Tundra again.

    1. Limited here, No pocket behind drivers seat... like the passenger even has one.
    2. Audio changes to phone music when it's already listed on radio. Sometimes super buggy. It won't turn on the radio so I have to plug/unplug my iPhone to get the sound back on after I start the truck.
    3. Big ol' space under center armrest.... and you get tiny glove box!
    4. No driver side "Oh crap" handle, I got one off sparkparts... but wtf, I get in an out with that all the time now that I have it installed.
    5. I drive a '21... no wireless area where the big hole under the armrest is? Yes there is a mod for that.. but I don't need it... yet I'm old school with an old phone.
    6. Backseat has a cigarette lighter... all these cig lighters should be gone by now, just make them into home chargers (Yea I'll get an adapted for it to connect to usb-c or USB eventually for backseat passengers.
    7. Definitely the free auto-start that turns off even if we're the ones that open it.... like there has to be a software flash update that can fix this too. They already use an auto unlock doors if the key is in my pocket and I tug on the doors that are locked, they'll unlock.
    8. Really soft suspension up front, so I'm in the process of leveling with non-adjustable coilovers. Nose dive during braking no more!
    9. Trunk bed lights would be cool.

I hope they keep the rear seat 12V plug in the next gen so I don't have to buy an air compressor with a longer cord.

Likely, they should add plugs on the doors or in the middle. I see that happening to help out the backseat folks.... oh and don't get me started on cup holders... i mean so many cup holders, but only fit a standard cup, they gotta make the ones that fit the 40oz's or have them adjustable or clamp down.

In the end I chose reliability over the fancier other branded trucks that have more up to date items inside. So I'm still happy with the purchase.

Aside from superior DC aesthetics, accounting shows an extra foot in the bed plus towing and payload capacity.
