Mr Fusion is the future. It’ll be available by 2015, just in time for flying cars.

    I'd rather pass gas.

Well all the new cars, probably also meaning pickups too, will have to be electric in the PR of Calif by 2035. Maybe this is going to be Toyota's test for that?
I also think hydrogen is probably the way to go as an alternative.

An electric tundra? Sold. Gobs of instant torque in a truck platform would be a game changer.

1 is a stupid argument because anyone who says EVs are green is a bald-faced liar.
    2. Similar to 1, renewable energy CAN be used to generate electricity to charge the battery in your EV but show me somewhere that has actually switched fully over to that.
    3. Are there any EVs on the road currently that aren't expensive?
    4. Can't figure out what the issue is supposed to be here. It's worse to take 5 minutes putting hydrogen in your car than to have to plug it in to a "supercharger" for an hour while you're on a road trip?
    5. Another bullshit argument compared to EVs.

Whoever wrote this is obviously an Elon Musk/Tesla fanboy.

Most people aren't ready to move over to fully electric truck. If this is in fact true, the ICE engine will still be around for a long time so the turbo 6 is not going to be obsolete after a year. The infrastructure isn't there yet and the recharging times aren't there yet, but for some people the fully electric will work just fine. If you don't take your truck on long trips or haul long distances, you may be just fine with a fully electric truck.

When you dig deeper into hydrogen vehicles it doesn't make economic sense. Very similar to ethanol in our fuel. It takes more energy to extract the ethanol than the energy available.

Someone told me this is true of all fuels (e.g. extracting gasoline from crude oil).

You might as well just skip the process of building hydrogen vehicles and burn propane in your combustion engine.

If that is true (Dont know if it is) then its still OK because we cant burn crude oil in our engine, but I can (somewhat) digest corn in my stomach. Therefore corn belongs in stomach, gasoline belongs in truck.

I have no issues with that (though I hate corn and bourbon). Ethanol isn't very energy dense and burning it contributes to smog. Not sure what that has to do with hydrogen, though.

It's hilarious how the EV community continues to try and crush the competition, and the video is 3 years old... it may as well be 100 years old.
