Thats best case scenario right there! :cool:Glad everyone is ok. The minimal damage is a bonus, but even if it was a total loss, as long as everyone was ok it'd still be a win.

So got the ham together, rode today, hit this fucking deep ass G out at like 40 probably and completely sheared the lower arm at the front mount. But she drove onto the trailer with just a ratchet strap! Buddy has some stock take offs he's gonna send me Monday, so she should be good by next weekend. Might be time to place that order for new suspension parts and Kings :D it deserves it for the beating it's received lately

Oof. Rough way to be starting out this year's riding. Hope everyone was ok on this one too.

From what I read and hear, Hams have the absolute nuttiest performance potential, but you gotta build them out so they don't hurt themselves.

Yea, no issues. Harnesses and helmets and all the goods like usual. Lower arm is broken, CV cage is cracked, and a ball joint broke. Everything else is fine! Should be ready by next weekend! This is the first thing we've actually broken I think, and all things considering didn't hurt that much so I'm happy with it! We'll go 72 and Kings later this year either way, but the stock stuff has held up pretty well I think.

Spent some time working on a bright idea today. One pair of mounting brackets made for no-drill mounting of a 6” single row bar, now to duplicate them for the second machine. And prime / paint for all of ‘em.

So, yesterday it finally warmed up a bit and I've been jonesing to ride. Decided I'd get my plate put on my RZR Trail and motor into town to do a couple errands.

Well, the 2 minute job of installing the plate turned into a 30 minute job. The one Allen wrench missing from my tool box was the one I needed.

No worries, I'll just grab the allen tools I keep in my truck, and we'll be in business. Allen key for the bolt, crescent wrench for the nut on the back, and..... poor design on the lighted frame has the wires attached to the frame in a spot that prevents the plate from being able to fit.:angrygirl:

OK, fine. I'll grab a pair of angled cutting pliers and notch out the corner of the plate to accommodate the stupid wiring. Not the best tool for it, but all I've got. Plates are made out of thin metal, so I get it notched and go to put the plate in and... the MFing plate is too tall to fit in the frame.:annoyed:

I couldn't get it into position before because of the wiring so I hadn't noticed this issue. Poor frame design or Wyoming has bigger plates, idk, but the solution is to trim the top of the plate by a tiny bit. Angled cutters to the rescue again. Finally, the plate is on and I can get on with my drive!:bananadance:

Buuuut.... now my warmish, calm day has picked up a stiff breeze with icicles for teeth. Bad day for windows down, let alone an open cab. :boom:

In the end, I got the plate mounted up, and took the Tundra to run the errands.:pout:

landphil that looks like the front of a Foreman And or Rubicon machine.
I’ve been trying to fit led bulbs in my 3 headlamps or at least the 2 in the body since I bought it 2 years back. A lamp bar may be necessary for 5k light because the Honda guys engineered their own bastard bulbs

I’ve heard of guys installing the complete LED headlights from a Pioneer, but that’s pretty spendy. Even the aftermarket ones ain’t cheap.

I got to run some errands in the RZR today. Beautiful day. Hit the post office, gas station, and got dog food from the vet.

Only downside is they started to work on my road, so I had to drive through mag-water mud.:(

Sounds like a typical 2 minute job. If it started out as a 15 minute job, you’d have been done in 10. ;)

A buddy of mine sent me some riding memes, and I laughed pretty hard. I would put them in the meme thread, but @War Machine gives me this look when I spam there.

Besides, they're specifically directed at riders, so....
