Ha! So you may already know: the very first SoCal Shenanigans run we ever did was ‘for my birthday’ in 2018. I had to sell it as my birthday wish because trying to convince my family that we needed to spend a day off-grid in the desert with a bunch of “friends” I had never met... well, let’s say, that required some creativity for sure.

That was SO fun! @eccracer104 was a great Cruise Director, and @Marty McFly announced his celebrity appearance so all the paparazzi showed up!

 

Yeah. This is the first trip posted at the beginning of this thread (when McFly was in charge, he actually curated this shit show by posting trail run videos).

Spoiler: Our run on 5/22 I’ll be an almost identical route. It’s beginner and new-paint friendly, but not too boring for others with a bit more experience.

 

I can't wait for next month! It's gonna be on the warmer side for sure. It was in the mid 80's this weekend when I stopped there over the weekend. I dropped my dad off out there so he could pick up his motor home and instead of going back home, I did a spur-of-the-moment trip.

Hey guys, I just picked up my first truck and first Toyota ever. I am planning on building an overlanding truck for my kids to enjoy, but I have no clue what works and what doesn't so I'm looking forward to learning from all of you here. I picked her up in Wisconsin last week and drove it back to Cali. Here is a pic from Colorado. Also looking for shop recommendations in OC. Tia
