    Came to the forum for some research, and found out it apparently thinks it needs an oil change? My question is: Why not just say an oil change is needed? :facepalm:

    Because some idiot would only change their oil and then complain that other components broke due to lack of maintenance. In todays society of punish first, prove second, the damage is already done even if accusations are proven false afterwards. By just saying "Maintenance" they can say that it is reminding you to check your book and do everything recommended.
