2006 Tundra SR5 4-door. The SRS cover on the dash (passenger side) has a "sticky/tacky" feeling. You can actually leave your fingerprint on it. I have tried simple soap/water but, I can't seem to wipe off this stickiness. The rest of the dash is fine. Has anyone else had such an issue and if so, were you able to do anything about it? The interior of my truck is in excellent shape but, I hate this sticky patch on my dashboard.

Sounds like it was painted. Or the airbag was replaced with a different one. How's the one on the steering wheel?

Try rubbing alcohol on a clean paper towel and see if that walks it off and cleans it.
Mercedes cars have steering wheel controls that have that sticky sensation and goo that we clean off with regular medicine cabinet alcohol.

No, never painted. I am the original owner and nothing other than a damp cloth has ever been wiped on it. Steering wheel cover is fine. They did replace the propellant as part of a recall but, they did not replace the cover itself. I'll try the alcohol.
