I also put the TRD pro grille and yes I do hate looking at the sensor but, overall it's not that bad in my opinion.

If you don't mind, how did you get the middle part of the bumper paint matched? Is that an accessory I can buy or did you paint the original?

 

I have the sport so everything came color matched. I’m sure you could order one from the stealer.

 

Got the bed line-x with color match....wow does it look great. I went the expensive route because it gets so hot in Texas and the Cav blue will be cooler than black.

Like the truck, the bed liner changes color dramatically in different light.

Btw, haven't yet formally introduced myself. 2021 DC TRD OR, bought her at the start of the month and I'm in love. Seems the Cav blues are in pretty low numbers and I'm happy to join the club

My 2021 cavalry blue TRD sport has shipped! Estimate delivery date is 5/5-5/12!

I ordered it with the TRD dual exhaust, spray in bed liner, blacked out emblems. Going to get some custom katskins seats for it, just haven’t decided on colors yet.

And of course I already bought some mods:

Congrats on the new truck and welcome! You will get plenty of compliments on the color, especially when it's sunny. That seems to be the shade that really gets peoples attention.

 

I work as a service advisor at a Toyota dealership and I’ve only seen one tundra in the cavalry blue, and it was a double cab. A few Tacoma’s and 4Runners have come through the shop for service. It’s a rare color for sure, I love how it stands out from the rest

 

I ordered mine as well. When I went to pick it up there were two or three sales guys standing around looking at it. There was one that kept going on about how great it looked in person and how they hadnt had one on the lot before. A few months later when i went back for one of the Toyota care oil changes, there is an identical cavalry TRD sport Tundra where the employees park. I'm not sure which one of the guys ordered themselves one, but somebody got one, lol.

 

Haha that’s funny! Our GM drives an Army Green one and two of the sales managers drive white and silver limited’s. I had to join the club!

 

I thought I had posted in here. Guess not. Picked mine up first of March. 21 limited and already had the ready lift and wheels tires from the dealer.
I recently added the Nfab podiums which are great! I looked at this truck for a couple weeks online and when I finally saw it in person, I had to get it! The Cav Blue is definitely my Favorite.

 

I will never get tired of how that blue shines in the sun! Welcome to the club!

Yeah, the trade in is up, but so is the price on just about anything else you'd get. It's a false equity gain.

That said, if the truck doesn't make you happy or do what you need and you can afford to swap, there's not a good reason not to. I can relate to the 4Runner pull. I honestly would have wound up in one if they offered Cavalry Blue on anything besides the 2018 Pro. Wasn't willing to pay those prices for a used vehicle. I'd suggest you think on it long and hard. See if you really want to move on, or if this is something that might pass. It would suck for you to trade a truck you've made your own and then wind up regretting it.

What other vehicles are you considering, besides the 4Runner?

 

If it works out financially and it's what you want....go for it.

Just make sure it's another Cavalry Blue!

 

I’m blessed to be in the position where I can get another vehicle where it’s not because of financial issue. I was actually thinking of potentiometer $10k in mods on new vehicle lol. I think I saw a brand new 4Runner for about $40k

that or completed 180 and just get a Tesla hahaha

but seriously, if the new gen tundra was out, it would already been a done deal!

 

Yeah, I wouldn't pay what Cavalry Blue 4Runners are going for these days.

Hello everyone! Here is my 2021 calvary blue beauty I added tons of mods to it. Chrome delete bumper caps, pro comp 2.5" leveling kit, wheels and tires, TRD sport grille+hoodscoop, flowmaster super 44 dual exhaust, and most recent, the black gloss grille overlay to change the center piece from grey to black.

 

Beautiful truck! Making me want to do the chrome delete front.

 

Chrome doesn’t really bother me anymore, but it is one of the few basic mods remaining. And the change to all black rims made such a difference sure the full dechrome would be a big visual change too. Maybe wait til a free shipping sale? Or just paint the surround and bulge satin black. Much cheaper that way.
