C4 Fabrications prototype Tundra bumper

Thinking about Rhino lining instead of PC and will definitely do all cutting first. I’m also planning to add a remote control extension for the winch:

what winch are you going with? Cause that may not be necessary

Can’t you just leave the cord plugged in and Velcro it inside the engine bay, leave the controller in the cab?

 

Certainly could. Since the bumper will arrive raw steel, figured that’s the time to do any drilling and keep installs as clean as possible.

I may be wrong but I think that one is wireless. If you have a button on the bottom that you hold and it turns blue then it should be wireless.

 

Think it’s the platinum version that comes with integrated wireless but I’m basing that statement only on the limited reading I’ve done. Ordering the winch is high on my to-do list.

 

I would contact Warn. I thought that my VR EVO (the lower model to the Zeon) was only wired so I ordered the wireless controller just to find out that it was wireless/wired.

It would just prevent additional cutting of your bumper/ ordering additional parts.

“Appears to be” the diode dynamics light bar.

Finally was able to finish the install, with the exception of putting on the flatlink.

Btw, my front dropped by over an inch. Not sure how some of you guys had no sag at all. The bumper, winch, and lights are heavy!

 

I talked with them. They haven’t updated it yet but are still planning on giving exchanges for members who purchase the previous Gen.

 

Good to know. Wonder if its worth the hassle of going through the exchange process or just doing with DD from the beginning..

 

Now this white one will be super fast!

 

I elected to go with BD instead of building a bracket to fit the DD one. just depends on which route you want to go.

 

Think I'm going to go piece meal and do just front coilovers with 700# springs for now. Spent too much $$$ lately...
