Would you see any issue installing the bed stiffeners after decked?

Yeah I got close to getting 295/70, and the tire selection is certainly much better. But I really love the taller/skinny look. Especially with meaty tires, it doesn't look too skinny, yet has that real 35" height which I love. And the +18 offset wheels really helps as well giving them just a bit of poke.

I was on the fence with the Desert Does It Seat Jackers, but it makes a world of difference for me and my comfort while driving. The front of the seat was just too low, now it gives just the right amount of support when I'm driving and long trips are going to be very comfortable this summer.

Others mileage with them may vary, but the fit and finish was perfect. Now I plan to add a bracket across the front (will make my own) and figure out what I want to mount on it.

I hadn't planned to install the lifts until my Katzkins came in, but I couldn't wait to see if I had wasted my money or not.

Wrote the check to pay it off. It hurt a lot but now I don't have any debt minus my house and that feels really good.

Thanks for the details. Glad to read you didn’t have any issues with the alignment. I’ll keep this info for later reference. The SPC UCA’s arrived but I’m still waiting on the shocks to show up.

    Nice rig.

Glad to hear it! If you have any questions feel free to PM and I'll help however I can. The lift may continue to settle a little bit in the front, but I also gave them a good thrashing off-road before the alignment to help speed that process up lol.

My goal was 3.5" lift front and rear, and I believe it should achieve that, but I have yet to take final measurements. When it came off the lift it was at 4.5" in the front, and the CVs were crying, but just backing it out of the garage it came down some.

    Good deal, and thank you.

Since this kit has a history of "settling" quite a bit after some miles, I really like the idea of the adjustable control arms to be able to keep things dialed in.

    What shocks/lift are you getting?

    Lots of shenanigans.
You’ll need to remove the hook that connects to the j hook to bolt it on. So you’d most likely need to remove the tailgate ammo cans to gain access to it. Not impossible, there’s another thread where people were able to successfully do it. They just recommended installing the bed stiffeners first

King 2.5 w/ adjusters, 650lbs springs. I took the advice of several folks on here. Went the “buy once, cry once” route. I’m still carrying around a box of tissues.

Haha yeah you definitely went all out! I live in the north east rust belt, so I specifically stayed away from expensive coilovers that might get hit hard with salt/rust.

But yes the buy once cry once thing holds true. However buying suspension, wheels, and tires all at once was a bit of a sticker shock lol.

Yeah, it's not as hard to do if the roads are fairly flat. Went to visit my brother a few months ago through a lot of gently rolling Ozarks hills....got there and found my MPG at the time was 17.7.

Really looked into this but at 45.00 US shipping and the exchange killed the thought pretty fast. LOL

That should have a link to the files and mine needed some trimming to get a good fit.

    These were the plugs: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08QR9CRK4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_85SFBBW035NEG7N1T41Y?_encoding=UTF8

I used a t-tap and hooked them into the stock wiring.

Wanted to see if I can confirm something on these UCAs.

Do they have the zerk fitting on the bolt like the new SPCs?

So the ones I received, DID have the zerk fittings for both arms. However there is a long thread somewhere on this board about the Mevotech UCAs, and it is a bit of a mixed bag. Some guys get zerk fittings, some guys get none, somebody even got one arm with a zerk, and the other one without a zerk. And one guy bought the set, but one was incorrect and for an entirely different application.

But when the stars align, they are 100% authentic SPC arms. The ball joints, arms, even bushings have SPC part numbers.

Honestly even if you get the old style sealed ball joints, I would still run them. I'm sure they will last a long time. I live in the rust belt, so I wanted something sealed. I cared less if it has a zerk fitting.
