So I have an idea for doing the fluid level check on our trucks. Per TIS, the truck must be level. Rather than jacking up/shimming the tires to level the truck out...how about playing with tire pressures? Thoughts?
    Thanks

Where are you doing it? Fairly level driveway/garage or on a hill? As long as it’s close to level you’ll be good.

Are you changing your 21? How many miles do you have?

1500 ish on the miles. I’m living in Florida, in a condo until it sales. Don’t really have anywhere to do it, as my job is kind of weird about us working on our own junk.

It’s pretty flat, but everything has a grade for flood drainage as I’m at about 15’ above sea level lol

    Working on it.
Doing some research, the WS fluid is not synthetic, but rather a conventional fluid made by Mobil, from everything I can find.

A buddy of mine is in love with Transynd transmission fluid. It is a synthetic fluid that claims to increase change intervals by 300% in big trucks.

Has anybody changed out the WS and went with Transynd?

There are a few threads on here about using alternatives to WS fluid but no other ATF is approved for use in our transmissions.

I had a neighbor that was talked into changing the ATF on his BMW by a local oil change house. Well, he made it from the oil change location to the bottom of our street but no further. I don't think that I have to mention that they used a "recommended" ATF instead of an "approved" fluid.
