It looks like we might have a new sponsor for dinner "Taco Garage", but he's worried it might be too much for him.
I'll try and work something out with him.

And I kinda updated last years thread. it might help with the confusion.

I just checked, looks like 12 campsites are still available and one group site. Then it’s finding someone that will share.

Yeah he will custom build them for you. Weld on only. Got my UCA's, 6112's and 5150 from him as well as installed all my skids a few months ago.

Hey Shenanigans' At what point should you extend or replace your bumpstops? Have Stock stops with 6112 at 2.5 and adding Coach builder .25" shims 2 driver and 1 shim passenger to get to 3" lift in the rear I have 5150's and adding +3 Shackles for appx 1.5" lift. What are your thoughts? another factor static weight carried between cover, rack and RTT will be appx 300lbs.

The right way to do it:

Take the coil springs off your 6112 and cycle the suspension. See where the shock fully compresses and assess where the bump should engage.
For the rear strip the leaf pack down to just the main leaf and see where the shock fully compresses and assess where the bump should engage.

Not everyone is game for that though. And in that case: judge it based off your driving style, are you hitting your stock bumps often? If so replace them with something better.

Typically a bump stop spacer is used when you need to limit your up travel (ex: when your tire is stuffing the top of the wheel well).

I’ve ran Wheelers SuperBumps and was happy with them as they’re softer than stock and engaged earlier in the compression cycle compared to stock.

I still run Wheeler’s Super Bumps on Hulk. Getting “real” hydrolic bumps is 2nd on my current To Do list, but these have worked so far. I did lose one once, so it’s on the check list of things to check constantly (everything).

Thanks for the details... yup way beyond my toolbox to verify myself... Guess I really should start buying real tools and utilize my air compressor for more than just filling tires...lol...and get a decent torque wrench...

I recently got a new torque wrench at Home Depot. Husky 1/2” 50-250#. Reasonably priced and has been working well for me.

A good set of metric wrenches and sockets will do. 3/8” drive and 1/2” drive.
    8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 17mm, 19mm, 21mm, 22mm, 24mm covers A LOT and will more than likely be all you need.
