What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

what LEDs did you use?

 

Easy to install.....I was aircraft maintenance so I'm used to hard to reach areas. I even drilled holes and added additional bolts to mine.

 

I used this set of bulbs came with led bulbs for my fog lights...just finally got around to headlights because it’s much more work than the fog lights. Had to take grill and other things off to change bulb for headlights

 

Gave her a wash after crap weather for a few weeks. Actually washed in the rain with more rain planned tomorrow, but she'll be parked tomorrow.
Also installed my stubby antennae that was given to me by a member here.

 

Painted my stock wheels today. Hopefully they hold up

Finished my BSM install. Now to get the full write up in my build thread. This one was a bit of a process... but I’ve now got a US TRD Pro with BSM and RCTA

Now I just need more aggressive tires. Either 275/70r18 or 285/65r18 km2s

Awesome! What is your suspension setup? I used to have 285/65/18, but thought they looked too small. I wish I went bigger the first time and saved myself a lot of cash!

 

Color matched mirror caps and door handles. Not even a full one beer job.

 

Pace yourself! Every mod is at least one full beer.

 

I was looking into this (replacing oem incandescent bulbs with LED). Seems like every site had some kind of disclaimer that either said 'not for headlight use' or 'illegal for headlights originally using incandescent bulbs' or something of the sort. Something to do with the lights being too bright?

 

Where did you add the additional bolts? Did you add them for extra strength or to make it harder for a thief to take the plates off?

 

I checked with the member to see when he sent it. He just told me yesterday he had gotten it off of ebay and that its discontinued. I was gonna link it in my build page, but I guess not now. It was longer than I thought it'd be (insert snickers and jokes) but I'm happy with it.

 

The housings are not built to correctly reflect the light pattern of an LED. That's why you get folks putting in HIDs in a housing not built for them blinding oncoming drivers. It's because it doesn't "throw" the light in a safe pattern.

replaced faded door handles with Amazon special...

 

Got my 285/75r18 Falken Wildpeak AT3w’s installed today. Tires measure 34.8”. Only had to remove the front mud flaps. I still have a very small amount of rubbing on the front bumper but it’s because I have maxed out the caster and have Icon UCA’s. Going to take a heat gun to the plastic. No wheel spacers, stock TRD Pro BBS wheels

 

Truck made it's first trip to IKEA.

 

Swapped out my black door handles for color matched.

 

I'm sorry... you went to IKEA and bought something assembled??? This is madness!!!

 

A little soap, 3n1 Griots, and convertible top treatment and 303 protectant goes a long way.
