Picked up a beautiful 2012 Texas Edition SR5 crewmax 5.7L in slate grey with 20" wheels and BFG ALL TERRAIN KO's. I love this truck, never owned a Toyota before but I'm very happy now. I hope to get some great tips on exhaust systems and tire options for my 4x2, I don't go off road like others might but I'll hit a dirt trail once in a while. The truck came with the wheel/tire combo but I'm not sure the tires are right for this truck, wondering if a different tread may wear better. Possibly Nitto Terra Grapplers, but I really like the aggressive tread on the BFG's.

Welcome to Tundras. You might try Goodyear Dura Tracs. Plenty of siping when its wet and good tread when hittin the dirt.

My tires are 285 55/20 the Duratracs dont come in that size, I guess I could go with 275 55/20 but I'd lose the 3/8 of an inch on the width.

Thanks, I think so too! I just want my truck to rumble. I'm thinking about an exhaust system but I need a lot of bang for my bucks and I don't have too many bucks left.
