Hello everyone, just became an owner of 2014 Tundra. Awesome truck!!!Got it on Tuesday and took it in on Wednesday for the recall. I ended up purchasing from a non-Toyota dealer and I noticed the ABS light was on and also the Traction control was on. I hope its nothing major. It is a 2014 5.7l with 9k miles. Anyone had anything similar with such low mileage?

Welcome and nice rig!! I'm not sure I can help you with your dash light question but seems to me if you took it in to get the recall done, you should be good?? If the recall was just the ECU flash thing, then you should be good. I think that is just so your truck doesn't go into "limp" mode... I have yet to do that :frusty:

Welcome. I am assuming that was the recall item as well. Have they gone off since taking it in for the recall?

Thank you @FunkinTundra what is the "limp mode" just curious? I just got a call from the service dpt and they are telling me it is a cable from the left rear wheel. They are also saying since it is broken or snapped in half the warranty does not cover it because it is not cause of factory damage. Is this true or can I still have the warranty cover the repair. The cost is $250.

    Welcome!

That's crap. Contact the used car sales manager. You did not just pay for a vehicle that has an issue a day later. I would push that. I'm sure they'll make it right.

@Sean266 I contacted them and they said since the vehicle is still under warranty from Toyota they do not mess with it. I bought it from a Cadillac dealer. I am planning on calling them to see if they will reimburse my $250 payment to fix it. I rather have Toyota fix it with the proper sensor than Cadillac. Bad ass truck you have BTW
