So about a month or so ago, the dealership noted above was *finally* able to track down the issue I had with my HVAC system in my 2020. (The issue was never that big of a deal - it would occasionally take that little HVAC LCD screen a moment to display data, and once it did, it would default to the defrosters no matter what you did. I still had heat....but once we hit -5 degree temps for almost a week, suddenly it became a bigger deal.)

However, it created a dash rattle. Brought my truck in to fix the one on the passenger side; and once that was fixed, it unmasked the one in the middle.

Brought it in today, and right away they couldn't find it. HOWEVER, they immediately asked the service manager himself to look into it, and he asked me if we could go on a drive to get it to rattle. I said "Sure, but it'll take a fairly crappy gravel road to get it to show up."

He said "Well hell, I'm bored and I need to get outta the office, so let's go." :D

Drove for about 45 minutes, and I hit up the absolute worst gravel road I could find, where he did indeed say "Oh yeah, that's not your standard gravel-road vibration." Soon as we got back to the dealership he told the service guy to schedule me in for their first available.

Small thing, maybe; but NOT having to fight for benefits that come with our vehicles is becoming increasingly rare. Seeger Toyota in St. Robert MO is doing it right.

Tom Seeger was a great guy too and it is heartwarming to hear about this store of theirs.
I only wish the STL Store worked like this.

Yeah I've heard stories about the STL store; my guess is that since they have such a wide variety of customers (UNLIKE the one in St. Robert) and more of a 'small-town' feel, they can afford to fob off customers a bit more. The other dealerships (non-Toyota that is) do it as well, which is a large part of the reason I bought my Tundra. :)

When my needle bearing went out on my 2010, I was out of Toyota warranty and had an aftermarket warranty through usaa. Usaa warranty rep claimed it was the lift that caused it but Seeger Toyota argued with them for awhile. They tried their best to help me out. Cancelled the usaa warranty right after that.
