This tastes exactly like it lol. Fruit punch with a pickle. It’s...odd? I still drank the whole can lol.

TBH, I don’t remember this one from last weekend a whole lot. It did have a smoothie thickness to it; but the taste wasn’t anything to run home about

Internet Money | Watermelon Jolly Rancher Gose | 4.6%

Good beer, but I am only getting a hint of watermelon in the middle / end of it. This makes a solid hot day (like today) beer as it was very refreshing.

 

Yeah it was a gag beer for sure. I mean, I tasted cheese and corn, so I guess it was as advertised, but still.

 

It could be that it’s old, I think that one was made like 6ish months ago?

 

I could be wrong! It might have the “canned on” date stamped on the bottom

Grapeful Eight | Grape lactose sour
8% ABV

So I don’t really like grape much, but wanted to try this anyway. It’s that typical grape medicine taste and I was not a fan. It was also very bitter and I didn’t taste any of the lactose unfortunately. If you like grape medicine it might be a good one for you, but it was not for me.

 

Primal Brewing | Baird, TX
White Chocolate Haze | White Chocolate flavored ale
4.4% ABV

This beer was very light, sweet, and refreshing. I only got a hint of the white chocolate flavor, and it was more of just a milky sweetness in the brew. The ale base that this beer is built on was super tasty. All in all a very enjoyable brew.

 

Equal Parts Brewing | Houston, TX
Medina Sod | Hazy Pale Ale
5.7 ABV

A very nice and crisp hoppy pale ale. Drinks smooth like an ale with the tropical flavors of Citra and Mandarina Bavaria hops. Very refreshing and very citrus heavy.

 

Hop Fusion | Fort Worth, TX.
Jack of Hearts | Irish red ale with cranberry and rosemary
6.6 ABV

I love Irish reds, and this one was fantastic! The flavor profile was mostly that of an Irish red, and the cranberry and rosemary were just light hints on the backend of the palate. I could sit and drink a few of these, it was delicious!

Orange Blossom Special | Witbier
5.6 ABV

This is the craft version of Blue Moon. A heavy citrus witbier with loads of orange in the mash and light wheaty body. Very enjoyable and flavorful.

Coco Añejo | Milk Stout
9 ABV

The stout of all stouts! No Fusions famous ‘fur slipper”, a chocolate hazelnut stout with toffee, but with the addition of roasted coconut. The best stout period.

 

Abita Brewing | Covington, LA.
PB and Jams | PBJ Ale
8% ABV

Very light and sweet, with just enough strawberry jam and peanut butter to make you feel like you took a swig of beer after taking a bite of a PBJ sandwich. Abita nailed this one, as they typically do. I’m just sad Total Wine only had one bottle

Marty’s Munchies, Marshmallow Clusters | Marshmallow and rice cereal ale
8% ABV

I got the flavor of rice and marshmallow in this, and it was good, but pretty sweet and heavy. It wasn’t quite a cream ale, but more of just a really sweet ale. It was interesting.

8% ABV

This one was pretty tasty. A solid fruited sour that does taste a bit like Froot-Loops, but not too overbearing. It wasn’t too sour and more so tart than anything.
