Are there any Line-X dealers/installers out there who can answer a couple of questions for me?

I recently purchased a 2018 Tundra with a drop in liner. I know the bed underneath is scratched up pretty bad. I mentioned to a buddy that I was planning to have Line-X installed. He told me about his Bedrug and how much he loves it. I do have plans to install a Bakflip MX4 once I have the bed lined.

    1. Would the scratches be an issue with the Bedrug on top of them? My concern here is moisture under it creating a potential for rust.

    2. I was told by a local Line-X dealer that there is a “national shortage” of spray in bed liner material. Is this true? He said I have about 15 on the list ahead of me and doesn’t know when he will have material.

I just got an appointment to have my truck bed line-x and was scheduled for two weeks from now. If there is a shortage then my dealer in Houston doesn't seem to be too far backed up...I can't offer an help on the bedrug though.

Thanks! I may call another dealer in the area to see what they have to say. This particular one just happens to be the closest for me.

I had linex in my dodge with a bedrug on top of it. Never had any issues.
