Mat question

Do not see a place in the garage section so if I missed it please move. Has anyone bought OEDRO mats for their Tundra Crew Max? I am looking at a set that covers under the rear seat as well as rear floor for my 2021 and they look pretty good. They cover by the door sills unlike the factory ones and look better molded than the major brands. I currently have the OEM rubber mats. A 3pc set can be had for $125.

 

I have the 3D Maxpider carpet mats in my Tundra and my wifes Honda Pilot which appear to be similar

 

I have had Max Spider 3d's in two vehicle and in both they never held up. These are made of a very different different material hence the question if anyone has had them.

 

I thought they were the same material. The 3D maxpider mats seem to be holding up in my Tundra although it is not driven much. The Honda Pilot only has 3500 miles on it so cannot really say about long term use

 

Heal pad wore thru within 2 years on a Highlander and Tacomer. Each driven less than 10K per year. Looked excellent at first. The ones I am looking at have the solid black rubbery plastic look but are softer than Weather Tech (less the smell) and harder than Husky. I like the fact they run under the rear seat on the Tundra. Lots of You Tube videos but I wanted to see what guys on this forum thought.

 

I have them in my Pacifica. They are every bit as good as weathertech and husky liner but for much less in price.

 

Do you want a mat or a liner?

If you're looking for a rubber mat, I'd look elsewhere.
Those are made of TPE and they are a probably more of a plastic liner, not a rubber mat.

Love the molded plastic floorboard mats vs the original carpet mats. I ordered a MAXLINER for DC made of TPE and it was thin plastic.
Couldn't get it to lay flat and it looked awful.
Could hear the plastic flexing if you stepped on it.
Returned it to Amazon..

Maybe the OEDRO is thicker, maybe not.
I'd stick with Huskey Xact.

My biggest concern is the lack of coverage for the rear mats going under the front seats. Less than factory and others.

 

Anyone ever try these? They actual go under the front seat rears like OEM.

You really only want the rear floor mats to go forward as far as the front seat tracks because on a CrewMax (maybe the Double Cab as well) we have floor vents for the back seat area on both driver and passenger sides. You would block those vents if the floor mats went under the front seats. When we select floor or floor/vents up front the rear passengers get the same. Going rearward I easily found floor mats that extend under the rear seats so the entire floor has the floor mat when the seat bottom is flipped up.

 

I perfectly understand which is why I was looking for something comparable to the OEM rubber mats which do go under the rear of the front seat a bit.

I bought them with the understanding that they don’t go under the crew max rear seats. That’s because I bought the ESP storage solution for under seat. I’m pleased with them.

 

I found the weathertech to be the best to go under the seats for the crewmax. I have huskey for the front and weathertech in the rear.
