Oops All Mallows | Imperial Blonde Ale with lucky charms marshmallows
11.9% ABV

Heavy marshmallows as soon as you take that first sip. Followed by a little bit of an unknown fruit flavor in the back end. Really enjoyable and who doesn’t love starting the drinking day with a big boi?

Miss Marmalade | Tangerine citrus lactose sour
7% ABV

One of, if not my absolute favorite beer from Martin house. Tons of tangerine and orange flavor with a touch of lactose to bring down the sour a little. Super crushable and very enjoyable. I have it on authority that version 2.0 is coming in a months time

Tantalus | Red wine barrel aged raspberry sour
10% ABV

Tons of red wine barrel flavor with a solid end note of raspberry. Very very boozy with a fair amount of barrel.

 

Hmmm. How much marshmallow are you getting it? This is being picked up today

 

It is heavy heavy marshmallow with everything else following pretty subtly.
I’m excited to try the fruit pebbles!

Unicorns with Lazer Horns | Fruity Pebbles Kettle Sour with cherries and marshmallows | 5.9%

I didn’t get enough marshmallow or cherry from it, but, did get a decent hint of fruity pebbles. Good kettle sour but could use more marshmallow, and cherry

Best Maids | Tropical Punch Pickle Beer | 4.7%
This tastes exactly like it lol. Fruit punch with a pickle. It’s...odd? I still drank the whole can lol.

TBH, I don’t remember this one from last weekend a whole lot. It did have a smoothie thickness to it; but the taste wasn’t anything to run home about

Internet Money | Watermelon Jolly Rancher Gose | 4.6%

Good beer, but I am only getting a hint of watermelon in the middle / end of it. This makes a solid hot day (like today) beer as it was very refreshing.

 

Yeah it was a gag beer for sure. I mean, I tasted cheese and corn, so I guess it was as advertised, but still.

 

It could be that it’s old, I think that one was made like 6ish months ago?

 

I could be wrong! It might have the “canned on” date stamped on the bottom

Grapeful Eight | Grape lactose sour
8% ABV

So I don’t really like grape much, but wanted to try this anyway. It’s that typical grape medicine taste and I was not a fan. It was also very bitter and I didn’t taste any of the lactose unfortunately. If you like grape medicine it might be a good one for you, but it was not for me.

 

Primal Brewing | Baird, TX
White Chocolate Haze | White Chocolate flavored ale
4.4% ABV

This beer was very light, sweet, and refreshing. I only got a hint of the white chocolate flavor, and it was more of just a milky sweetness in the brew. The ale base that this beer is built on was super tasty. All in all a very enjoyable brew.

 

Equal Parts Brewing | Houston, TX
Medina Sod | Hazy Pale Ale
5.7 ABV

A very nice and crisp hoppy pale ale. Drinks smooth like an ale with the tropical flavors of Citra and Mandarina Bavaria hops. Very refreshing and very citrus heavy.

 

Hop Fusion | Fort Worth, TX.
Jack of Hearts | Irish red ale with cranberry and rosemary
6.6 ABV

I love Irish reds, and this one was fantastic! The flavor profile was mostly that of an Irish red, and the cranberry and rosemary were just light hints on the backend of the palate. I could sit and drink a few of these, it was delicious!
