She’d see our conga line from miles out. Probably not a bad ‘welcome home’. ;)

    Nice!
    Is there camping spots there?
    How are the trails?

There are some off shoots like Barker Valley that are backpacking trails for camping. Several Boyscout troops go there inthe dpring and summer months

It's an easy trail with great views and flowers. You can make it all the way up to a fire lookout tower. There's a few spots along the trail you could pull off and camp for sure but no campfires. It's not a big offroad trail system but there is stuff nearby you could do in addition.

    Start: 33.3308955, -116.7092255
    End: 33.4274843, -116.8599140

It doesn't connect to the main part of Palomar near the Observatory like Google says; there is a gate.

Odd question, but does anyone have any leads on a cheap/used 285/75/16 A/T tire for a spare?

Yeah, gotta hurry! Some sites had already been booked by OT’YP when we got ours. All these Covid shut-ins thinking they want to go camping.... :annoyed:

Once @blktruck makes the new thread I’ll share it here. He’ll note all the sites and then tag us with our site number so we know where everyone is at and what sites are available/taken/ open for share

Lol. Yeah, 6th annual shirts had somewhat a distribution. I collected some at a trail cleanup held by Fastlab UTV and dispersed to some SD locals.

Oscar still has a lot of shirts available.

Yeah, Oscar kept track of who got shirts but instead of asking vendors to put out again , he’ll distribute the remaining shirts this year.

I guess anyone that didn’t sign up last year could be left nekid this year... but they’ll be so happy to be included in this year’s fabulous revelry, what could they possibly complain about....?!!
