Ripped apart my rear bumper to get started on my BSM/RCTA install. You can’t fully remove the painted bumper ends without fully disassembling the bumper (which I didn’t want to do), so I had to work carefully in the little gap I could make by prying them outward.
    upload_2021-4-11_21-3-13.jpg

I built a new harness from scratch for the bumper to hook up the BSM monitors and that is complete. Still need to make up a harness from the bumper to the engine compartment, but that should be the easy part.

Did you get the tri-color emblem from Amazon? I'm wanting one with the standard yellow, orange, and red but the reviews are all over the place.

I ordered this one. It's nice and it's 3d. Good reviews, I'm very happy with it.

It’s a Tacoma pro knob, and TVD vinyl has a kit that covers the red “boomerangs” and tiny TRD inserts for it. Basically any color you want! Install is tedious but worth it.

Many Thanks. Yes, many beat the crap out of these things so good ones are few and far between. Man, $11K is top dollar for a 3rd gen. T4R! It must have been a beauty and hope you don't regret letting her go :(. I bought this Sport SR5 in 2015, gave it to my daughter, and now I've got it back. Next on my list for this one is a lift and new suspension...after I fix the P0440 code. I had a '98 and also another '02 before. Really love these Yotas and think the 3rd gen. body style is somewhat timeless. Shame Toyota had to move away from this platform to make it larger (and probably for safety reasons too). I'd bet if Toyota built these again they would sell like crazy...but then again, there's plenty of good candidates out there for restoration.

Added Bilstein 5100s and a rear block to my Platinum. Also threw on my new to me Method NV305s with Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws 295/70/R18s.

Completely changes the truck! Old wheels and tires are for sale BTW!

I'm waiting on my new '21 to come in. Does anyone know if the interior bulbs are still the same that they've always been? Wanting to get some orders in for stuff I'll need and just wanted to make sure. I dont see why they wouldn't be the same, but you never know, ha.

    Just getting started...
Yes, I got it from Amazon:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JSY3ZCM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8

And yes the reviews are all over the board but I'll bet these are all coming from the same factory in Guangzhou. Mine seems like decent quality and it fit fine on the older PRO grille. Time will tell...

    Working on it.

I have really been struggling on whether to get these or the Sumo Springs. Why did you decide to change? Hows the new ride feel? Have you towed with it yet?

Very nice! How bad was it? Any tips? Was kind of worried about it with the new straps and all. I have mine waiting for me and have not even opened the box yet.

Doing a test print in PETG now for my Dual Outlet Center Console plate, but decided to play with other options. If everything fits, I'll print out the other "Tundra" and "Toyota" variants to see which I like best. Printing in black, this is just how my laptop does preview images for each.

Once I know these are working and fitting well, I can share the .stl files here so anyone who wants one can print or have them printed out.

I plan to print that one today too, just to have both options. I may end up having to move the holes and letters around, depending on how everything fits into the opening.

I don't plan to sell them, but any local library would be able to print one off from the .stl file. I don't want to share those until I know they fit well though, just so no one wastes any money getting one printed out.

Need some cleanup and light sanding on the lettering, then a few coats of interior paint, but will need to test fit before I do any of that fun.
