Hey all! Here we go, I am starting with a 2017 1794 edition.
    IMG_6863.jpg IMG_6864.jpg Resized_20170119_135501.jpg

I like what they did with the interior, but wasn't with all the chrome on the exterior. So that was the first thing to go. I did the TRD PRO grill and hood bulge conversion, and decided to paint the "toyota" logo in black for a cleaner look. I also switched the chrome bumper caps and mirror caps to white.

    IMG_3773.JPG.jpg

Wayyyy better. But, I didn't like the gray in the middle of the bumper, so I changed it to a fresh white one. (without the license plate holes)

    IMG_3845.JPG.jpg

Stoked on the way it came out. Next, I decided to ditch the 1794 badges and add 20% solar tech tint to the front two windows. I also changed the door handles from chrome to black.

    IMG_3846.JPG.jpg

I wanted to get rid of the lengthy stock antennae so I bought a 13 inch off road antennae from antenna X.

    IMG_3928.JPG.jpg

Much cleaner look, and not too short.

Got rid of that wood grain shifter, and threw on a TRD knob.

    IMG_3990.JPG.jpg

Next was the TRD cold air intake.

    IMG_3876.JPG.jpg

Then, I swapped out the stock radiator and oil caps to the TRD ones.

    IMG_3931.JPG.jpg

    IMG_3932.JPG.jpg

Then I installed the black tailgate insert along with the black 4x4 badge to give it a symmetrical look.

    IMG_3847.JPG.png

Suspension is in and just waiting on wheels to come from method (back ordered for 6 weeks because brand new wheel model). Should be any day now.
    Stay tuned. More to come.

SICK! Thats how 1794's should look! I would have picked a 1794 if it came like this from the factory

Happy to sell it. Selling everything I took off. Bumpers, Wheels with tires, end caps, door handles etc etc. Just make me a fair offer
and its sold. It is as new and I put it in the TRD shifter box.

Update to my project as I got word from the shop owner that my 6 week late wheels will reach the performance center early next week. They must have had a strike at the Method factory in China. Will post results shortly after all installed. In the long wait we added LED lighting, LineX premium spray in bed liner, TRD dual exhaust and a TRD sway bar. Like most all of the other owners that added this it is a substantial improvement in reducing body roll in turns and tightening up the rear end of the truck. I got both these items from TRDshop.com as they had the best price on the exhaust. I had the swaybar powdercoated true matte black but left the end links factory TRD red. Wont get into why but sorta happy with it. While doing so I had the adjustable rail sliding bed tie downs also painted the same, as the silver pot metal did not look good with the rest of the all black bed. Here are a few pictures:

    Wow! Awesome mods

Switching out the chrome front end caps on my 07' limited tundra to match quicksand body. there is sparse information out there for how-to's for end caps with parking sensors.

    Any suggestions you can offer?

Yes there was some modifying done with those parking sensor cut outs and to be exact give me a few hours to get exactly what my good friend
did at his body shop to customize those into the white bumper end caps after swapping out the chrome. He said he put a good bit of "free labor"
in on it. Back to you today at one point.

"Chrome end caps have larger openings with two notches. You have to duplicate the sensor hole opening to the exact as the chrome end cap !
You have to be very careful not to make the opening to big or sensor will not lock into place "

Many Thanks to Paul (aka...@JP711) for his generosity by selling me his 1794 wood grain shifter. As you can see I wanted to add to the wood trim on my Limited with this shifter and Love the way it looks. Thanks again..

Looking great. I put the same lift but with the billet UCS's on my 1794, handles great on and off road. I have yet to do the front bumper but was considering the same set up.

Thanks for reporting/comment on my post. I saw those fully adjustable billet alu UCAs very nice stuff. I overkilled it as it is as I ordered the stage 1 secondary's which I will have to return to perf center for install as 2 more weeks out. I was told that the alignment process is more time consuming on the billet UCAs
however they stay aligned when aggressive off roading. I will post pics tomorrow for sure as I grab my truck tomorrow morning finally. As far as the bumper
in retrospect I think the black (TRD Pro) look is slightly better than the all white but worlds better to have it swapped to 040 superwhite over the dark
grey metallic they ship with on the 1794s.
