We’re working on getting together on the east side in a couple weeks. You’re welcome to join up but I know that’s a hike from Glendale. I’d like to do something out your way eventually too.

    Mods, what mods?
I'm open on the 17th. I'm open for a morning or sunset run. Prefer not to do it during the day, as it's getting a little toasty outside. :p

Have you always worked with Bell? Maybe see what a different dealership says. I’ve had varying luck depending on the dealership and the service manager I talk to.

Also, which button is it? Do you have pics of the damage?

Same with the lock unlock buttons on the door. You'd think all buttons would be Backlit by now.

My truck originally was gonna stay stock and used for towing travel trailer and weekend adventures. Ordered travel trailer and 5 months went by and they still didn't have an ETA on delivery so I cancelled order and got money back. So I did the next best thing.

Fox 2.0 front with CB shim on both sides
Fox 2.0 with resi in rear with +3 CB shackles (for when I finally buy a TT in future)
Wireless Charging station on center console.
Stock wheels and tires. would like to do SCS Ray 10s but I love my 20" wheels. Might just do a fuel vector 20x9 wrapped in a 275/65/R20.

For profession I am a Radiographic Technologist. Basically take xrays for a living.
I look forward to meeting everyone. I need friends to hang out with.

you can go to dealership and tell them you want a refund for your VSA. They will refund it to the cost of your loan. I did it with my hyundai they prorate it of course but better than losing the entire amount.

I rode Butcher Jones like 3 weeks ago. The green gate off Butcher Jones road was locked. If you go past Butcher Jones road about 1/4 mile past Butcher jones road there's a little parking area with an opening. We went straight through the gate. Did not have any pass. We tried getting to cove 1, but being a new way in, we got off track and ended up cutting our trip short. Trying to find the same gate to get out, we just exited off 4- peaks road. Got some awesome pin stripes though!

no shame in a man working for a living no matter what he does. as long as you have what you need(some things you want) that is all that matters. Thank you for not being a lazy POS and sitting at home being a leech on american tax payers.

Yeah I was just looking at AllTrails.com and someone posted just a few days ago that the Butcher Jones main trail is still closed. :notsure:

Is there another trail you guys wanna do? I’m still down with the 17th, preferably afternoon / evening.

You can still get to Butcher Jones from the Rolls OHV side and from 4 peaks rd by going through the 3rd parking

Good point Patrick. So here’s my proposal, let’s shoot for a late afternoon run on the 17th and do the Rolls OHV trails. We could meet up at the QT on the southeast corner of University and Ellsworth at 4pm, then caravan up from there. Thoughts?

That sounds good. Is the rolls pretty calm ride? Or do we need to air down? Just curious if I need to bring my air compressor or if I can stay fully aired up.

No idea, never been there myself. The blind leading the blind :) Not a bad idea to have a compressor just in case.

I pretty much always air down out here. So much rocky ground. I did Bulldog without airing down once and shook the shit out of every bolted in piece of my truck.

If we decide to hit any part of the trail at any decent speed, we’ll be happy we did. I’ll have a small battery powered compressor to help out a little bit at the end.

I've given up on trying to keep my paint nice, lol. I did borrow my FIL's Flex orbital polisher and got most of the old mess cleaned up. Just in time to do it all over again :mudding:

Took a minute on my way upstate this morning to verify that the Four Peaks entrance at Highway 87 and Four Peaks Rd is open.

Turned around at this spot and was not happy to see how some people treat the area.

Mt. Ord entrance further north was also open.

Nice to see the area starting to recover from last year's massive fire.

Hahaha that’s about as good as the vaccine is.... lol not that if you get vaccine they still Try to tell you to wear a mask... haha... that’s the point of a vaccine. Lol anyway. So the gate to the actual mountain is open if you follow that road all the way back! Hell ya! I’ve been talking it up to my wife. Will for sure do that drive in winter once I get new shoes for truck.

Yes it is gravel road the entire way. You could easily do it with 2wd. Idk about in the winter time as snow can get deep. But during spring summer and fall a 2wd truck can do the entire 4 peaks drive.

Hey tomorrow after the run would anyone like to meet up for a beer? I was gonna go with you but my father in law asked me to go with him to Havasu to pick up a trailer so that will be a solid 9 hours. If anyone is available we could meet for a beer. I would like to meet everyone and check out setups. Let me know.

Bummer, would have been fun to have you with us. I’ll need to pass on a meet-up after the run, been working some pretty long days recently and need to take my wife out. Rain check?
