Airbags/cradles

Hey guys!...about to install Firestone airbags (model 2445) along with airlift wireless (

25980EZ)...my question is I have a 4/2 ReadyLift SST installed on my 2020 Platinum, and I’m unsure if I sure add Daystar cradles to allow full articulation, or get the 2” Firestone extensions (model 2506)...or if I even need either because I don’t do a whole lot of off roading at all...I’ve done a ton of research, just want to get more opinions and make sure I’m doing this the best way possible for my application...And doing it the correct way...thanks for any info/help/feedback!!!

 

I have a three inch lift and used @Coachbuilder1 extensions. But I also have his shackles as well. I would call him or PM him to see what he suggests. David Ekstrom or look up Ekstrom designs online to get shop number.

Nice looking truck. I put airbags and day Star cradles on my truck, it was for towing a trailer that I only did on occasion. I didn’t like the ride at all ant took them off. Made the rear very stiff. I even ran them without the valve stems to see if it would soften out the ride and it didn’t. The only time I really liked them was when the truck was loaded down a lot. I still have them sitting around just in case, takes about 45 mins to put back on if I need them. Just don’t have the truck loaded down enough to justify the harsh ride. Oh yeah, 6112/5160 shocks w 1” coachbuilder shackles.

No cradles, went with the Firestone bags and airlift WirelessOne EZ, love it!
