Sure, but you said I could only pick two. Quality work is a must have. Waste of time and money otherwise, and it I have to decide on cost effective or fast... I've got more time than money.

Agreed. What I meant is that at best, you’ll get two of those three criteria met with any job you hire out to someone else.

If it’s fast and cheap, it won’t be good.
If it’s good and fast, it won’t be cheap.
If it’s good and cheap, it won’t be fast.

    2nd & 3rd options have their place.

I didn’t. I was waiting for an actual human to read my survey response and get back to me. No one ever did. Forgot all about it until a post on this thread reminded me.

That makes for an even "better" review. You can honestly say you contacted them on X day and still haven't got a response. Just makes them look as bad as they are.

Ever see a group of them riding fully tucked for aero? I don't think the Nascar inspired draft benefit is worth having your face up another dudes ass.

I get ignored by the road bike guys in my area because I wear dickies shorts and a t shirt. I ride right by a lot of them with my aerodynamically inefficient shorts flapping in the wind.

Back to what pisses me off, working on a beautiful Friday.

I'm a business analyst at a pretty big (and still growing) company. I work double duty as a project manager and have been dealing with a lot of really stupid changes lately. One of them being a pile of crap website where you have to create tracking lines for your projects and update them as you make progress. It literally let's you manually put in your expected completion date and percentage completed, and dumbs everything you are doing down to a colored dot (green/yellow/red).

If you are in green you are fine. If you hit yellow, your bosses will get invited to a governance meeting to explain why you are at risk, that meeting is not a good place to be.

I got an email late yesterday that my project showed up as at risk. I had my teammate go in there and bump the percent up (that is part of her job, she forgot). It went from 20% to 60% but still said at risk. I went in and bumped it to 75%, still at risk. I told my teammate forget it, our bosses can explain we have a week left of testing and we will release a week early, regardless of what this insulting website says.

She tells me, "You know you can double click the colored dot and change it to any color?"

 are you fawking kidding me? So people are being pulled into meetings to get shit on, but to avoid that you just click the dot and turn it green????? Bad enough you can manually alter your percentage completed, but you can also override the color scheme, what a joke.

    So I did. :D

I was looking for an amp last week and kept hearing that in my head. That didn't make me angry, but amps that stop at 10 do.

When FedEx or UPS drop packages over my gate. I have a 4 foot high gate to get to my front door, its never locked and it never seems to fail that they will drop stuff over the gate when the box says fragile.

Today a VOX amplifier was delivered and the bottom corner of the box was smashed. I plugged in and noticed right away if I touch volume or gain while playing the amp stops amplifying. I have to rotate the amp model switch to get it working again. That doesn't seem normal to me. Pretty sure either the impact messed up the tube or messed up a connection. I don't know if FedEx realizes how much 20 seconds of laziness can ruin somebody else's day.

Maybe they're afraid of that vicious hell hound of yours?

I hear you on this one. When I ordered my floor mats the lazy sods left the package out at the end of the driveway leaned up on a fence post. My driveway is 200 feet long, so it's nowhere close to the house. Easy pickings for porch pirates if they don't have to come up on your porch. Good thing my neighbor is honest and gave me a heads up.

People who pass me in the work van that's limited to 71 mph, then drop their speed when they get in front of me. I go out to the left to pass, they speed back up again or drive 70-71mph. Pisses me the hell off. Also semi trucks that don't maintain a constant speed, crawl past them at 71 in the left lane, then a mile down the road they blow by me, then I'm struggling to pass them again another 2 miles down the road, foot to the floor at 71.
