I'm making black textured ABS covers for the back of my seats. I'll post up as soon as I have them installed and if you guys want them for your trucks I can add them to my site for sale.

I'm assuming he's doing something similar to the project I was just working on this afternoon. Basically it covers the gauged wires, cushion backs, and metal clips to create a nice level surface. I'm planning on adding carpet to mine since it'll mostly be used for cold weather truck camping for long haul road trips.

They’re being machined right now so as soon as I get them I’ll post pics. I just didn’t like looking at the foam and wire frame on the back of the seat, and was also worried about ripping the seat or getting it dirty if I put things back there. I’m going for a more finished look.

Yep, it’s a version of this except mine will stay attached to the back of the seats and allow them to fold individually. I do like your heavier duty solution too though, not a bad idea!

I would like to utilize the back of cab wall to mount two amps. I wonder how much depth I have with putting in a 1/4" ABS Amp Rack plus 1 3/4" amps.

I don't see that happening, unless you mount them close to the floor.

    On a side note:
I've had my DC rear seat entirely out twice, and never had to take this apart..

It is nice to have this space..
I keep 3 jackets behind the passenger side.
Jersey work jacket, rain work jacket, and a jacket for the wife because she is always cold in restaurants or whatever..

Same back wall load out I’ve currently got, plus a hat. I have pretty little 7.5” AR pistol that is always begging me to mount it behind the seat....

Finished my ABS panels to cover the seat backs. If enough people are interested I can produce more. They are CNC machined and attach to the wire frame on the back of the seat with adhesive clips.

    Here’s the unfinished seat back.

and with the covers, CNC machined 1/8” thick ABS. Shoot me a message if interested.

I have amps behind my seat. You will have to mount them as low as possible...there isn't alot of room.

Bend or cut? I'm trying to decide which road to go down.

@JMB any chance of adding a poll to the thread?
