You're not supposed to submerge a Jeep in mud? Sue them for false advertising.

It makes no difference to me if people cover their plates or not; it's their vehicles and their personal lives that are affected by it (or assumed to be affected).
I don't cover my plates in my photos - there are about 250,000 people in the area where I live; they can all see my plate when I am on the road. If they want to do something with it there is nothing I can do to stop them. Adding a few thousand forum members to the mix of who can see my plates is not going to make a difference to my daily life.

Can't speak for how things work up north. I don't have any experience or knowledge on Canadian police tactics or legal boundaries.

Not sure if this is true or even possible, but the reason I heard was that people could report the vehicle stolen based on the plate.
Would really suck when you cruise down the road and get pulled over for no reason, with everything going on these days, better safe then sorry.

On that note... I got new plates in the mail, kind of sad when your truck has a new plate, before its paid off.

I have people taking pics of my plate all the time. I have family and friends that say they see it pop up from time to time on their social media.

You need more then just a plate number to report a vehicle stolen..
