This is as much as that compact 1/2 inch impact I've been looking at for salvage yard scavenging, with limited time...

I have one of those in my garage. Never used it. We got it demo’d to us. No idea how I ended up with it.

I’ve Nicknamed mine ‘Mamba’. Its a beast. I’d like to buy the Mid-Torque Version, as well. Heard its the best power to weight ratio for most all things on our trucks.

That’s the whole point of a good impact driver. Your hand doesn’t feel the torque at all. Unlike a drill where it’ll bite and twist the tool right out of your grasp.

FF to 2:00. Insane what this tool can do.
Don't have one because I doubt it'd ever need 1400ft-lbs for anything.
Have the midsize and love it. 400 takes off pretty much everything on the tundra.

I'd go 1/2". You'll go broke buying 3/4" impact sockets. Plus you can use your 1/2" impact sockets in a pinch for other purposes if you need to. Unless youre an industrial mechanic I dont see a need for a 3.4". Just my $.02

I am just a home mechanic, I just wanted one since I have 2 Suv's and 1 sedans in the family and I like to do as much work on them myself wherever possible. I get that this is overkill but when you live in a rust-prone state you need extra help to get those bolts and nuts loose. Thanks for pointing out the 3/4 vs 1/2" cost comparison I'll keep that in mind.

I picked up my 1/2in Milwaukee for 249.99 from home depot and it came with a 5.0AH battery, really couldn't pass up that deal! I had a 4ft cheater bar on somethin and couldn't get it off to save my life, put this impact on it and it took it off like it was only hand tight! Home depot has killer deals on Milwaukee tools all the time with free batteries and such, just keep an eye out!

Apex tools (gearwrench) must be running promos all month at all their vendors. Good time to pick up ratcheting wrenches if you’re looking. Picked up 10pc metric flex-head stubbies for half price.

I know they should essentially be the same thing internally, but I can tell you from experience, the 3/4 has more torque.

I *think* Amazon is not an approved Milwaukee vendor, for warranty purposes. I can’t find this in writing, but when I check Milwaukee for approved vendors, Amazon is not included.

I picked up the 10pc metic stubby flex head.

but here’s the full listing of gearwrench sets. There’s a few good deals in there :
    https://www.napaonline.com/en/search?q=Nty=1&N=2500068+2606812+2810956+2000022800&Score=1&referer=plp&partTypeName=GearWrench Set&keywordInput=gearwrench&scene=partTypesScene3&fullyQualified=false

Advance auto also carries some gearwrench, too
    https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/w...talogId=10051&langId=-1&searchTerm=Gearwrench

the 7pc non flex head stubby set from advance auto that is $20 has the same sizes as found at Napa for $30. But the Napa set come with a beautiful blow mold plastic case. If you count in the cost of a wrench holder to your advance auto purchase, might as well go napa
