I love my topper. I have the ARE and it was on the truck when i bought it. I was very neutral on it, I like the classic truck look but it has really grown on me. Extremely functional.

I'm going to wait until the light bar craze is over. They look funny to me. I'm still a fan of the beefy off road lights look.

I'm with you, I like them on the grill or bull bars but on top of the truck is kinda weird looking. But it does hide the old man lip topper too lol

I don't care much for looks but functionality, I like this setup on the devolro. I like for the crewmax there are some toppers where you can climb from the cab to the bed without leaving he safety of your truck if you're in the wilderness

Topper with a roof rack. This is the third truck I have set up this way. I got the opening side windows and love them.
A couple of tricks I have learned.
-The mounted mag light works perfectly to light up the entire bed.
-I used eye nuts on my roof rack so I have a place to tie stuff from the roof, think clothesline for wet gear.
-I have a boat hook that lives on the rail so I don't need to climb in to retrieve items from the cab end of the bed.
-I mounted my roof rack as far to the rear as I could get it. That way I can slide things onto the roof without tearing up paint. Also, corners are the strongest points on the fiberglass top.

Not sure what mine cost but it wasn't cheap. I used it on my last truck and just cleaned it up to put on this one. The reason I did not have the topper manufacturer install one is because the rear bar was mounted too far forward.

I almost took a pic last time I saw it. Think it was parked at a business off I70 when I was driving by. Not exactly enough time to snap a pic when your passing at 75mph.

I had one of these, but it leaked through the doors real badly. Sent it back and it still leaked. I mean pouring in. The back door was a big problem too.

That's a good looking topper on a sexy looking silver truck just make sure you get the options you want. They cost a pretty penny so you don't want any regrets.

My ARE Z topper, installed In 14...happy. Keeps camping gear and anything I carry in the bed dry and out of sight. Also have an Aluma trailer which is handy.

Anyone have the full bedrug with topper? I'm wondering how this combo works with the OEM bed rail system. Any mods necessary to make it work?

If you're going for nice then the SNUGTOP is the nicest topper i've had, and i've had a few. I'm not going with one on my current truck because i got less use out of the last one and really wished i had it off more than on. I had it lit up pretty well and disconnecting the electrical caused me problems. It ended up being a dumping zone that never got emptied until i freaked out, and then i would clean it really well. With the SNUGTOP all windows and doors were leak free and it looked really good to. They make a winter proof locking system that never freezes, unlike all my other toppers.

Thanks to you guys for your help (pictures of your trucks) in my purchase of a new topper. Casper has a new Leer 100XQ model, and I love it.
