    Hi All,

I've got an odd lighting issue with my newly acquired 2008 Tundra Limited 5.7; none of the dash lights work at all other than the instrument panel and display screens (like the clock, radio station, and hvac status). Below is what I have when my lights are on:

I am having a hard time finding a picture of what SHOULD be lit up, but I think it's this. I'd expect most of you know what is missing, though:

The dimmer switch works fine in terms of changing the brightness of the instrument panel. Does this mean it's fine, or could it be working for that and stop everything else? I haven't seen a wiring diagram for this but I'd assume they all go to the dimmer.

    Any thoughts?

My first thought would be check all your fuses.

That was my first thought, too. There are more than a few for dash lights, though. I pulled a couple out (not all) and tested with a multi and they seemed fine.

UPDATE: Checked all fuses on truck; everything is testing good with my test-light. So the issue can't be related to a fuse.

    You check both fuse boxes?

Good question, other than a fuse, I don't know what would knock out all the orange button lights from working.
Hit up the ask a Toyota mechanic thread.

Thanks for the advice. I've posted it there, too.

I am having the same issue with the same year model Tundra. Did you find the solution? Also when I adjust the dimmer switch I can occasionally get the radio/AC lights to flash. I replaced the switch and it is still not working.
