Welcome. What’s the specs of your suspension and wheels/tires?

 

Installed the TRD rear sway bar today. Pretty straightforward install. Haven’t tested it out yet, but I’ve got a few days in the N.C. mountains coming up, so looking forward to seeing how it handles those turns now with this added on.

 

Front: Bilstein 5100 Top Setting. Rear: Stock
Wheels: 18” Method 316 +18 offset.
Tires : Nitto Ridge Grapplers. 295/70/18

Nice. I have the original mavic pro but the camera image is horrible. I didn't have that issue when I had the first one before it crashed.

 

Biggest concern of mine with having 20s was making sure I had enough sidewall so when I swipe a curb I don't jack up the rims. I do, and love I don't have to worry much if I cut a corner too sharp.

 

So do I. I love the stance etc. What are the specs, tire size and lift?. That looks damn near perfect to me.

Looks good. I am assuming that these were chrome before. What did you do for prep, and what did you use for the paint / covering material

 

Non functional lipstick on a pig, shark fin from ebay.

 

I'm pretty sure he just used plastidip. All you need to do is clean the surface and then you can spray once the surface is dry. There are a few threads on using the plastidip to paint bumper ends.

Looks really good, can't wait to see how it holds up for you. I'm thinking of doing the same thing to mine. Plus, I was going to buy some anyway to do the interior center console glare pieces that have been killing me when I drive south at the right time of day.

 

Use SEM Trim black for the interior. It won't have that lingering paint smell once it's dry.

Where did you get the aftermarket grille insert from? And did you have to buy the TSS sensor bracket separately?

 

yep, that is the goal this weekend. get the front bumper caps and the grill done.

This time i will take better before/during/after pictures.

I highly recommend HyperDip. Much easier to use than PlastiDip. Great product.

 

Can't wait to see how your grille turns out, I contemplated doing this to mine and just having it all red with black. I have thought about just doing the bumpers and leaving the chrome around the grille too. I know we don't have the same color truck, but it will be easier to decide after seeing yours finished out.

How much Hyperdip did you use on the back bumper, just a single can?

 

Interesting. I might give it a try. Any tips and ddi you use the protective coat they sell as well?

I just installed mine last weekend... as many others here have said it makes an obvious difference. Lot's of windy backroads in my part of SC, I keep expecting it to roll in the turns like it always has but it's amazingly flat now.
Guess I can sell my sports car now that I have a "sport truck"
