Tow Mirrors ...What has changed on the 2021 Tundra Sr-5 OffRoad

While Toyota still seems to offer the same $ 450 + version of their branded tow mirrors ... which I know are good quality, but ++$. Why are most of, what appear to be good quality aftermarket units, indicate a NO FIT for a 2021 Tundra... is it just a change in the the plug in configuration or wiring? Or mirror mount surfaces???

 

Most manufacturers don't update their site in a timely manner. Alot of sites still only go up to 2019. For example, my bumpers say 2014-2019 and I have a 2020.

 

Thanks for responding, that certainly is a possibility, in some searches like Amazon where you can update "your garage" the system searches and assumes 20-21 a no fit is not listed. backtracking your build post I came across the other Tow Mirror discussions which have been helpful. Not quite sure why the Tundra site search I tried didn't reveal prior tow mirror discussions. I guess I'll order a set and give it a try... You would think Toyota would include tow mirrors with their tow package.

Does your truck have blind side monitoring? I don't and saw in some post that might force the mirror BSW light on constantly ???

I like the idea of tying into the rverse lights with a manual switch!
