Hi all, I've got a 2003 Tundra with Captain seats and was wondering what people were doing in regards organizing the console storage. It's a massive cavity and am just trying to figure out something that makes sense.

Good thread idea. I haven't found a great way to organize mine but I did put in some drawer liner to keep things from sliding around. I also have the highly sought after coin holder.

I'm curious if anyone has any good ideas. I do enjoy having the huge center console.

I've only worked on the top portion of the console but am looking for ideas. Please keep them coming!

One thing I will say: If anyone needs a replacement coin holder, for some reason I had an extra.

Other than that, I don't have cool pics to share, but I will say, I'm really surprised nobody is going wireless charging installs. I thought about dropping one in under the center console tray under the ashtray, but opted for a USB port instead. Might be regretting it a bit, but it was a case of $100 vs. $12+1hr

I’ll get a coin holder. That one looks OEM. Do you have a link for it?

My pic is my $15 wireless charging solution (though you can see a wire) and I know it's not for everyone.
Pretty nice just laying a phone down and watching it charge.

I have a spare. I think all of the center consoles that look like the one above have a boss inside the opening for it to slide onto. Fun fact: The same one that came with the mid-late 90s Tahoe/Yukon/Sierra/Silverado/Suburban is the same one Toyota used.

Ah, I might've missed that b/c of the wire.

Thinking about designing and 3D printing something for this. Has anyone seen anything like that already?

Just put in the drawer liner a few days ago and it's working great.

Got around to taking measurements and modeling up an organizer. Just the shell at this point, will add sectioned off features once these outer dimensions are proven to fit.

I wasn't aware that they had different consoles depending on cab config, but yes, I have a DC so I'm designing for that at the moment

hmm...I have a DC and my coin holder is at the front (hinge end) of the top compartment. I also have an organizer that fits into slots in the main compartment. No one else? Excuse the mess but apparently I keep a bunch of stuff in here.

Sorry for going silent. I printed a prototype and it worked reasonably well for me, so I kind of forgot about this thread.

Gonna touch up the model and print a V2 this weekend. If that goes well I'll post the results here.

    Sure; which part?

The foam is gun case foam that I ordered for about $3. I am redoing mine now and figured out 1" is what you want. Lay a 1" piece in the bottom with a cutout for the coin holder only. Then the top layer of 1" foam cut out whatever you want to create a spot for.

The wireless charger I believe I bought from Amazon (know your measurements as most are too big) for about $20. I cut off the top pen holder and used Velcro to hold the pad in place. I snaked the wire down thru the bottom pen holder and connected it to the GTA Car Kit I installed which provided a USB out. But I learned it didn't put out enough power so I wired it in. You could also use the charger on the back of the console but I believe its a full-time hot, so unplug it when leaving the truck if you go this route. I added a pad under the bottom of the charging pad so the phone wouldn't slide off when going over R/R tracks or rough roads.

The placement isn't for everyone but I really like the location. It is good for quick viewing when using Waze and I can close the lid and it looks OEM...

Hope this is what you were looking for.

Rear seat delete, onboard air, wobble wayfinder, ultimate drawer system, center console, put the pamp in glamper shell, and some I'll NEVER tell...
I raised my console up a bit and added a small area in front for storage. Cheap, didn't take long, and well worth the extra space.
