Handy, My stock jack still reaches my back axle and my front lower control arm just fine for tire changes. Trying to jack the truck up from the frame is a no go for me.

Spent the morning with Sun Roof maintenance and Mz B let me do window cleaning/lube on Easter dinner table. Having never done deep maintenance to sun roof, was pleased to find you could remove 4 T-25 screws and remove window with it's frame. What I also found after already removing driver side screws was with the 3/4" wide washers they used, there was plenty of hole in frame, which gives plenty of room for adjusting. Knowing that, I chose to mark window frame before loosening screws on passenger side, which indeed helped when it came time to re-install. I also chose to place blue painters tape all around window opening, knowing me I would get the edge fabric of window opening dirty or greasy. Over all wasn't difficult cleaning rail of majority of rail lube and reapply new. Since I probably open sun roof maybe once a yr in 10 years, wasn't much grime at all, just ole lube. Buttoned her all up and pushed close button and it slid so well it slung it across garage !

I installed one of those EasyLift thingys to the tailgate. Honestly, one of the best upgrades I've done to this truck and was on sale at the amazoon for only $15. The instructions were very good but tips and pics from @Lil Steve in this thread helped a ton: https://www.tundras.com/threads/adding-tailgate-assist.71398/ ... thank you brotherrrrrr! My tips: You'll want an assistant, I was able to do it with a girl. Always use bits made from Cobalt when drilling steel. Drill a pilot hole before hitting it with the 3/8" bit. Easy install overall.
The torsion spring works amazingly well. I can lift and close the tailgate with one finger now. Superb.

Rag in the pic cuz I greased the tailgate pivots while I had the gate off, they were dry.

I’ll second this. Especially if you have a camper and sleep in the bed. Lifting it is almost effortless, even from inside.

It's one of those things that for the price you think "how good can it be?" But after installing it you wonder what took you so long to do it! Glad my info helped.

Went to town with LED. Actually just ordered more, ran out after 12. No headlamps for now and backup lights coming, but happy at the moment.

is there supposed to be a lower piece of shroud? And so far, it looks like the moist oil was coming from a loose oil filter. Fkn shops.

Enjoyed that my door handle and lock work again on drivers side. I rolled my window down half way yesterday and rolled it back up. Didn't have the courage to roll it all the way down yet.

Thought about washing it yesterday but decided to wait since we went to the beach. I'll wash it tonight instead. If I get the time this month maybe I will wax it again, we are getting the foggy sea air in the mornings now and it burns off around 10am.

Got a nice big bird turd on my driver side bed (before leaving for the beach), some of the "overspray" is on the tire.

I say it’s time for more than one beer and go for it !

This time of year around here car washing is a waste. Green pollen crap is all over by the time you get to other end. Paper company let’s us run thru their car wash which has to do around here until about May !

Yes, the fan should be fully shrouded. And Fram is a no go in this household. If you're getting your oil changed at a shop, please take your own filter with you so you don't get stuck with that poor excuse for an oil filter. There's a chance the filter is to blame for coming loose and not the shop, although the poor choice in oil filter was definitely their fault.

Mine won't go all the way back and squeaks really bad! Did you have to remove the headliner to access it?

No head liner removal needed. Fortunately mine is not opened much which kept dirt and grime almost non existent. Taking headliner out would be my last resort even tho it’s not hard to remove BUT it would be very time consuming. Suggest you at least try getting glass and frame out. Clean up rails best you can then lubricate.

Ye. Need the Shroud. Makes a huge difference in how the air is funneled in through the radiator instead of a lazy action. Mine was not installed back by Goofy Shop back in 2012 I assume when the TB Job was performed by them. Never noticed until right before doing the TB again and saw it should be a part in the diagram. Issaammi sold me his from pahts truck.

Leak could be coming from Oil Pump Gasket which travels down along the upper assy and ends up around the Oil Filter Cooler and Filter. My Oil Pump O-Ring was discovered to be leaking and she’ll have to wait to an Engine Rebuild. Hope its just a loose filter like you say. Took me a while to figure it out and thought it to be Oil Filter and then the Cam Seals Leak, but its a small $1 gasket. No big leak but just a weep

I dont let shops work on anything of mine. But after i moved, someone had to take care of grandpas truck. Not as good of a shop as i thought. Pretty sure its a combo of a vc gasket, oil filter, and trans cooler line.

Yeah. Thats the TB Tensioner. You most likely have an Oil Pump Leak. My leak showed there as well as at the oil filter on the other side. You’ll see the trace back trail if you open it all up when doing the TB Job. Oil weeps up at the top of the Pump from an aged O-Ring and then weeps down the two sides showing up on the TB Tensioner and the Oil Filter on the other.

Gotta pull the entire engine to replace the Oil Pump. Fuggetaboutit!
