My truck is missing the front rail. I know the original owner had a bed cover. I’m assuming he took it off for install. Do they sell single tracks or is there an aftermarket rail? Does anyone have one they would get rid of?

Also are there quality aftermarket hooks? Looks like I didn’t get any of those either

You can use unistrut in its place. There may be a DIY around here for it. You can also buy the cleats separately that slide in the rails.

I like the unistrut idea! I definitely want to figure out some eyelets so I can strap shit down. Something I hated on my last tundra. Always wanted the deck rails but wasn’t paying $300 for it

Are there aftermarket cleat options? They're pretty steep at C$75 per cleat new.

I’m sure I’ve seen some homemade type mounts. I would think you could use the spring loaded unistrut nuts (The name escapes me right now) a threaded eyebolt, washers and standard nut to jam it, could work very well. Or even some Wingnuts instead of a standard jam nut.
    https://parts.sparkstoyota.com/p/To...wn-Cleats-Bed-Cleats/69523223/PT2780C010.html
But you can find the bed cleats for about half the price you found. I think I lucked out and bought a pack of four off of a member a while back. Keep your eyes open in the for sale threads.

You can install the spring nuts that go with the unistrut and then bolt anything to them. Hell, you could bolt a boat dock cleat if you wanted to. Whatever you can bolt to a unistrut you can bolt to these.

Edit: I bolted some D-rings to mine for tie downs. Work great and cheap!

    Alot of them
Quite often you can find the OEM cleats for sale on CL. They are $38 each from the dealer, but sometimes you will see someone sell all for $50.00 or so.

Similar set up here. I had a spare unistrut section and D ring the D ring bolts to the channel nut.

Another vote for D Rings. For me they work a lot better than the OEM sliding cleats.

It’s an RCI Hi-Lift mount. I mounted quickfists to it to hold an axe and shovel. (I got the RCI mount on sale for less than what it would have cost to make one.)
