Photo dump of our recent family outing. Weather was great! The morning of the day we were to arrive it snowed, then warmed enough to melt it. This made me a bit sad, but my wife was happy. The night was refreshing and great to sleep through.

Following couple days it warmed up quite nicely. Can't wait for the next trip in May!
    Enjoy!!

More photos than I expected so going to space them out by category kinda.

Setup was about 20 minutes in the dark for our first attempt at it.
Take down took about an hour as we experimented with how much could we leave in the tent when closing up. LoL - Turns out the hardware and our sleeping bags, but not the pillows and some other odds n ends.

We slipped a tablet up in the netting of the skylight, so we were able to watch a movie as we went to sleep. Movie of the night was Aladdin.

That's faster than it takes me to set up a regular tent. Nice. Lol. I thought you ordered a built in tv in your tent. :D

    hahaha that would be awesome!
Yeah this one goes up a bit quicker than our ground tent.

If I was about 3" taller it would be even easier haha. I have to keep stepping up on the tires to grab some of the buckles and sliding the annex in place requires some stretching... tired arms by the end of it.

I kid you not, we are bringing one like that next time but with 3 steps! hahahah. It's in our shed and I hadn't thought of it until attempting this weekend.

Nice pics looks like you had fun. What kind of pillows were you using in your RTT and how do you like them? Also on Tacoma world I heard about tepui owners getting CVT covers so they could fit more stuff inside the tent. I guess because the ladders aren't telescoping the covers are taller. If you ever replace might want to inquire about to so you can just leave the stuff in there.

Looks like a great time! Eventually I will get the rack/tent setup like that. How much does that tent weigh?

Tent and Rack are just shy of 500lbs. So about split.

Cool idea - I may look into that is the need gets larger to leave items behind in the tent.

The pillows we use are https://www.thermarest.com/catalog/product/view/id/16763/s/camp-head-compressible-pillow/category/16 - They are pretty comfortable and compact.
